I know this is pretty old at the time of my comment but just had to say, absolutely beautiful tribute. Glad we've finally got confirmation that we get to see Frank again, after all these years. I swear, this man has just been slept on so hard. Jon Bernthal's Punisher is one of the best castings in the history of the MCU and possibly beyond.

I loved the punisher cus he felt more real to me then the “supers” we are suppose to call heroes. A hero is someone who saves people selflessly, and in some situations, some cases, that’s true, it can be done. But in every case where it’s personal it’s just about impossible to be a hero because you want justice like the people you fight for. Him actually delivering that justice-not letting the offender get away or last minute trying to be “the better person” felt real, felt raw, it’s what you hope you could do if someone took everything from you. Things are complicated and nothing is ever black and white, letting the person who keeps hurting you go so you can feel superior somehow never sat right. Putting an end to that suffering, saving someone else from possibly suffering the same, getting revenge for someone you cared about-that feels like a real hero to me. Feels like a rock of a person willing to make things right or die trying. Even if you know it’s not gonna make things better, it just feels right.
