So, if you shrank your tarp footprint to bare minimum, you could have an effective tent that blocks wind and rain on three sides. Face the opening to the rock. Then use your stove to gain heat. Also a mylar emergency blanket is super compact and weighs nothing. With that you could retain more reflective heat.
