In all honesty, if you wear a long shirt, it really doesn't matter all that much. Even in the NFL the jerseys are cut off at the waist and you see a line of male butts. Leggings are just as attractive, it's the lack of butt coverage and the athletic physique that are universally beautiful to observe. It's great to have an option, and people should never make advances or point out the attraction, but natural attraction is totally part of what makes sports even more inspirational. Let's also recognize the tradition of the classic butt hug/slap. There is no reason in most life activities to grab butts and thighs, but many athletes do it. Is it creepy? Technically no. Is it appropriate? Idk but it's clearly not heavily discouraged. No judgement here, just commenting on a relevant post. I definitely love volleyball but perhaps junior VB should just embrace the full leggings since they won't be at peak competitive levels until college/pro anyway.

Spandex is a material formally known as Lycra. There are shorts or leggings, but leggings are almost almost Spandex, whereas cotton shorts are popular, but in sports, spandex is the leader in general for cooling and lack of stains and flexibility I would assume. It's great to see an option since not everyone needs the same uniform properties.

Mine is definitely the block touch rule. It should be a loss if it goes down inbounds on your side, but if it goes out of bounds the sloppy hit should be punished. It's so annoying when a great block is punished because of random momentum lol. I'm actually fine with losing if you block and it goes out of bounds on the hitting team side.

It seems freshman year is when players really start to avalanche into their potential. Maybe it's the high school competition level but regardless, VB has a strong succession

Me personally as a lib/ds, I try to wear leggings to practice and games as much as I can. I love the full length coverage.

My friend is a Muslim and it helps that we can wear leggings in volleyball bc Muslims well some of them can’t wear shorts

Don't forget about subbing under the 10ft line, hand setting has to be behind the 10ft line(not always, but most times), sub counters are different plus you don't have to wait to sub as there is a specialized person to tract the subbing of libero's.
