Arborist. Contract Climber. Love my career. Always learning, ever improving.
The Seven Deadly Conifer Trees! (Biomass Removal)
Wow what an experience. An epic job spanning over 8 days. Many problems were solved along the way like metal bars, new saws and soil pockets in the stems.
With hard work and quick thinking we got the job finished on time with no damage and a happy customer.
I've learnt loads from this job, I'm glad its all signed off and I can move onto the next one.

Rigging limbs up to pulley using a machine
Переглядів 79121 день тому
Today I was using a Ditchwitch machine to pull some nasty tangles lateral limbs out and up to the pulley to get the branches back over to the right side of the garden making everything easier. I was working with Mark Harrison Tree services. Call mark on 07845475635 if you need any work doing (based in Warrington but travels all over uk) Thanks for clicking on another Tpott's Trees video. 1250 is dead cheap for the forestry boys, I thought it would be more expensive
@@greatnath I thought so too. They make their money selling the chip to the biomass
Monster job must of been knackered
@@greatnath we were. Glad it's all done now 😅
Yes boys! That was a well good video. Hard graft, everyone put in a shift. Those big boys toys at the end were amazing! Super good vid mate!
Thanks man. I really enjoyed filming it. Hard work but now it's all done it feels amazing
@ nice man! Look forward to next video 🤙
Sick video bro 😎
What’s the main function and purpose of this hitch?

So cool seeing the complexities of this whole operation, nice job 👍🏼 Your hard work is paying off!

man these multi stem conifers are always crazy dense! awesom job, interesting approach with the winch and everything. the heizohack really is an awesome machine. great job man!
So dence. It was fun to fell them but horrible to tidy them up. I'll get a digger in next time
From freelancer to TPott's Forestry Services in just over a week. Outstanding lads!
dancing in the moonlight lmao perfect
Wicked !
I bought an eject 2-3 years ago and I still have yet to use it 😂. Honestly I feel like it was a waste of money. And I'm afraid to use it, and smash it up on retrieval lol. I know I can do a soft retrieval, but that's to much time and energy. I might pick up a Naja just for this reason.
@@alotl1kevegas860I definitely feel more safe on my Art rope positioner
That sky is awesome
Awesome job man and great video! I love it when folks take their stuff on up into the tree and give us a demo! Heck YEAAAA!
I need to work on my climbing skills 😂

❤ NICE and simple ! THANKS
I have a new Yale Twist 11.7mm that I'd use it on. I think it's 24 strand
How are you getting on with the rope runner now some time has passed since this video? I'm seriously contemplating one but keep hesitating.
@@thegreenrevival4424 what do you use to climb with at the moment? Are you using srt already and do you climb lots of taller trees often
What size cord is that like length
@@bpriceless420 75cm I think
I prefer them not being too long
Never tied one that way. I like it. Thanks for the video.
Brave man
Nice one 👌😎
When you’re ascending, do you ascend through the crotch of a branch? Or do you attach a micropulley (attached to branch crotch) and then feed the rope through that for less friction? Also SRT? Or DRT?
@@LivingLikeLu srt on this tree. The sling is just to load the limb better so less likely to snap but get me into a nice position
What rope you using with the zigzag?

l do 4 wraps a twist in the back and then l do an over and under, and another under.. responds way better and looks more like actual chain around my rope and doesn’t have that huge gap on the one side when weighted. l’ll post it sometime on my channel so people can see what l mean. thanx for the tutorial, well done.🫡
Why aren’t you using the rope running anymore?
@@BelzoGraphics I do on larger trees
Curved silkies cutting a curved hinge is a myth - the cut is still straight, and if you play about you'll see why. Instead, only a few teeth are in contact with the wood at a time, providing less resistance.
Thank you for showing some things with the ropewrench srt. I am a beginner and learn to climb up trees.🤗🙏🏽
any problems with the 540xp yet? I'm tempted to go for the echo2500t battery top handle. So light and ergonomic. Just need a few batteries and a panther on it maybe haha
@@elemental4rce I use my 540 for felling and a echo 2511tes for pruning. The husqy has been great with a 14inch bar on
@@TPOTTS_TREES only asking as a few people have been saying they've had issues with them but the performance seems to out weigh the concerns for most 😅
@@elemental4rce depends on the middles. The mark 3's are really good but the mark 1 and 2s had many issues I've heard. The main thing I've found is it runs really well by blowing out the air filter regularly and cleaning the spark plug when it doesn't start first or second pull. Also the start choke system is different to other Stihl top handles so read the starting manual procedures as to not muck up the spark plug regularly
@@elemental4rcefrom cold it wants a full choke pull. Then switch it to half choke to warm up for about 10 seconds then blip throttle to turn off half choke. On warm a regular pull is fine. semi warm go straight to a half choke for a few seconds to warm again then blip throttle
Welcome back! Nice video bro.
