On December 29, 2024, Archbishop George Leo Thomas opened the Jubilee Year for the Archdiocese of Las Vegas with the theme of “Pilgrims of Hope.” The faithful gathered at the Chancery and then processed to the Cathedral for Mass! Pilgrims that visit the Cathedral during the Jubilee Year, and follow the norms for an indulgence, may receive one.
Guardian Angel Cathedral is the official pilgrimage site for the Archdiocese of Las Vegas for those unable to travel to Rome during this Holy Year.
The background music is “Pilgrims of Hope,” the official hymn for the jubilee year.
