@@driven_dorey9335 It was the crank seal . I could get drop in pistons and rings, Fortunately the compression test passed. I believe using the stock crankshaft balancer is a big part of the issue. They found that 4 of 6 camlocks were bent from over torquing on initial install. Procharger does suggest an ATI balanancer , but thats another 1000 basically, For now , we used the LS3 crank seal, but have ordered 6 new camlocks , and when its pulled again, better to replace that 14$ seal...again. The planned addition of uprading fuel system , unlock and tune the TCM, and headers with cat delete , may have to wait. The seal was changed, and oil catch can to be installed monday. I can say that the "canned" tune supplied with the p1-x is not ideal at all, and it has to be tuned by someone who knows how to tune these. I will be borderline what the internals will hold, and am considering scrapping the other updrades, just get the catch can and tune and dyno to see where we are. We did order a 3 bar map sensor whicn for the life of me , I cannot understand why procharger doesn't include. You cannot read boost with the stock 1 bar sensor, which is something that should be a standard measurement. I just teed in an analog guage auto meter and it works fine, but cannot datalog anything with it. The question is, upgrade fuel system , or drop in forged pistons/rings , and then build from a more solid foundation.

Damn sorry to hear that. Ya pull the cam and see if it will pull out. Don’t force it. It will ruin the block. What probably happened, which happened to me, the pin holding the roller came loose and binds it up. My actually took a chunk out of the block and I had to buy a new block. But if you can get it out, take another lifter and see if you can easily put it in and out of the hole and if it it feels ok then it should be fine but if not unfortunately you’re SOL like me. The only thing I was able to salvage was my crank and heads.

Nope Texas speed sold me their ls7 style lifters. Didn’t know they sucked. So now I’m just waiting on all the new parts. Going with Johnson lifters.

Yes. You have to remove all that stuff. Get lS7 style lifters, DOD delete kit and phaser lock out. If you call GPI they can tell you exactly what you need.

Maybe I'm too late, bt don't get ls7 or ls7 style lifters they suck now. I need a new block Johnson lifters 2110 or 2116

Hey brother! It’s gonna allow for more fuel, in turn more power. When going e85/flex fuel, it’s more stress on your fuel system. This will help get that fuel where it needs to go.

@@driven_dorey9335 thank you! It's crazy how many different opinions you get from shops. Some say you're totally fine going for a e85 with no modification. Others say you can go 85 with this pump. But DSX says unless I have a cam even with this pump I should stay under e50

@@MichaelGreco ya if you go anymore your gonna run out of fuel pressure. I have the same fuel system as yours and I knew I was gonna run out of fuel with my build. I can run E65 with the lt4 fuel system and aux pump and then mine starts breaking up now because the injectors are maxed out. So I try and stay around the 50-60% rang. Gonna do Meth next.
