I've journaled since I was little, but for some reason it's been giving me quite a bit of anxiety seeing how popular it's become and how many tips/tricks/tools are out there. Congrats on 1k! I like the idea of a health tracker. Id probably tailor mine towards my mental health more and keep track if thing disregulate me so i know what to avoid or limit. maybe even a food allergy tracker!

I've been really looking forward to your videos. I absolutely love the health tracker. I am doing quite an extensive one this year also. I think it will prove valuable. Here is a thought for you to think through your transition...if your health improves your health tracker will show that too and how excitng would that be! Happy Sunday!

🙋‍♂I was looking forward to starting my new journal for 2025 and had to wait for today to make my entries as I caught the flu on the first of this month. Today is Sunday the 5th of January of this new year 2025 and finally feeling better and using in my B6 Café journal with my Montegrappa Aviator "Red Baron" fountain pen. It was easy as my entries consisted of one sentence "Bedridden due to flu"😂 Great to see your video as always! Kudos from NYC.🗽

Thank you so much for sharing about your Truly Yours experience. I also had my TN customized last year. Mine was a little more expensive than yours but I had more customizations done to mine. It took about 5 weeks for my TN to get back to me. So I think it all depends on how busy they are at any given time. I LOVE my TN!! It is SO special and will be with me until I leave this earth. I completely agree! Journaling slumps are totally normal and thank you for honestly sharing. It's such a personal journey, and that's the beauty of it. The way we interact with our journals is unique to each of us, but it's so inspiring to see how you approach it. It’s wonderful to be inspired by others while still making the practice our own. I believe the best journal is the one you actually use, as it captures all the moments of your life-both the highs and lows. That's the magic of it, where every page holds a piece of your journey.

🙋‍♂Hello! I fall into the slump now and then and even on those days I write something, and it could be as simple as "No entries today, not in the mood" and for me It has made me stick to writing more as to why I am in not in the mood on that day. As far as making my journal look pretty with pictures and washy tape they are simply filled with text. I may embellish my handwriting with some calligraphy and a picture now and then but that is the extent of it. My journals I consider private and it's not something I share with anyone, but to each their own. Most UA-cam influencers don't write about personal private things and decor of the pages seems to be more important and that is what leads to slumps. Competitiveness leads to stress and stress leads to fatigue and your ideas seem to not improve. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy watching others making wonderful pages in their journals. Sorry for being long winded and I could go on and on, but you get my point. Wishing you the best and splendid work on your pages... Kudos from NYC.🗽

Definitely seeing other peoples perfect Travelers Notebooks full of pictures, ephemera, and beautiful script is definitely discouraging. But my journal is mine. Its where I keep my thoughts and pain and hopes and such and those arent always pretty 😅 plus, all the beautiful things are expensive!!

🙋‍♂Hello young lady! I want to tell you're not alone when it comes to your journaling hobby. I will confess that I have been using fountain pens for 55 years and journaling for over 46 years. As this may be a hobby for some it has been wonderful journey for me. I commend the younger crowd for doing this as it can help with many aspects of one's personal life and help you heal in some way or just be more productive. With that said... Hey just FYI, Moterm don’t do faux leather. It might be pebble stamped. They have a great range of veg tanned leather covers now too. They age really nicely.

I know you talked about not putting this out to encourage consumerism but that's not what your doing at all. Alot of your favorites are items you bought while traveling. They remind you of your trip when you use them and now you use them so much they are apart of your core memories. That's super important. It's totally different than just buying something offline you saw and got fomo over. On a side note I did spend $500 on a eink color android tablet this year for my journaling but I did a ton of research to make sure it was the right move for me. I don't have a lot of space and needed something that functioned with my life style. It is my number one favorite purchase for the year and its a daily use and I use journaling way more now and it's really helped with my mental health in a way paper journals didn't. ADHD. If your worried about not using washi tape you could create cards with it wrapped around it for traveling. It makes it super easy to bring small amounts with your of all your tape on the go and it would easily fit in your smaller pouch. It's what I used before I switched to digital. I had like 30 washi tapes on four or five thingy cards that took up maybe a couple cm of space in my bag. You had really great picks this year. You might like one of those refillable pens that are metal that have the interchangeable nibs and stuff. Uses fountain pen ink. That would give you a better option than having to find a specific pen here in the US.

First time coming across your videos and this one left an impression for sure. The way you talk, mannerism and the whole vibes feels as if you’re talking to a friend and it makes me feel as if we’re chatting on a coffee or something, very cozy vibes. I think it is because you didnt cut out all pauses, feels like a real conversation

This was so well articulated!!! I have talked to my therapist about that feeling of buying an item that you feel like encapsulates you, and how it can feel like your items are an extension of self. Which by itself isn’t a bad thing but can easily lead to false expectations or overconsumption. Hearing someone else in this hobby talk about it was so refreshing! Lovely video 💗
