has anyone the similar feeling that you thing this is monaco and not a russian city?
Well no both cities are very different Monaco dont have lot of vast spaces, its more compact. The building are very typical of France, Italy and Spain. Most of buildings are old and built before 1980s. And all the beaches are made of fine sands. Not small rocks Sochi have very vast spaces. Way less compact. Have small rock beaches. And the city looks like a mix of Moscow and Barcelona. And they also copied lot of north american stuff like food court and the way the shops are presented. Its also more modern then Monaco since sochi has a big part of their infrastructures built in the 2000s and 2010s

Только приехала из Москвы, была и на севере Москвы и на юге - везде чисто, опрятно. Шикарные парки и площадки. В Маскве не была , там наверное по другому...

When i run through park in batumi, i was assaulted by racist. While running, a group of teenagers were walking from the other side. When they looked at me they started to block the road, act like monkeys and laugh at me. As I flew past doing middle finger, they grabbed me, and started assaulting me. After the violence, many people around me try to help me. But among them, there was no Georgian. Police don't admit it is racism and they were saying that it was deviation of teenagers. When I asked if I would have experienced something like this if I was European, their response was "there are many Japanese and Chinese restaurants here, and there is no racist here" What a weird logic. Country that tolerate racism Country not worth a visit City not worth a visit Never visit Georgia
If true that is tragic but putting everyone into one Basket seems like questionable approach to me.
Sorry to hear that you experienced that it's absolutely horrible but such bad people exist everywhere Korea also has racism and discrimination especially against Black people but that doesn't mean that whole country is bad
Sorry to hear that , I am black arab , from sudan ,I went with my family there in Tbilisi and Batumi, I found the most nicest and respectful people I have ever seen in whole Europe , and even in our area , the Georgians are the most open-minded people ,may be from the siege and closure of the communist regime , in many cases I was telling them that you are a purest people on earth your open country to many foreigners will corrupt you. Thanks for the Goegians and their peutifull county
