My God! I was a visiting student at Galway University in 1990/91... And one evening I took a walk from Eyre Square to Quays Street - it was dark, raining like hell and the streets were empty, but there he was, near the Woollen Market, singing alone like there was no tomorrow. His high-pitched voice is one of the dearest and most vivid memories I have from Ireland. Thank you for this video!

I find it insanely interesting that peoples the world over from almost every ancient culture in someway or another had a version of a sauna or sweat lodge, be they natural (via hotspring) or manmade. It makes me wonder why these traditions were lost over time. History is fascinating.
