I really like what you said about change, we are almost the same age and I went to film school a few years ago and graduated last year, I will talk about that one day, thanks for sharing this
Congratulations on graduating! Must have felt bloody good. Change is important, fundamentally as we get older we naturally change, shift perspectives, so we have to be OK making bigger lifestyle changes that makes us happy. You definitely should talk about it, be good to hear your journey and perspective on it.

New to creating react videos, this one finally went live without issue, 4 uploads abs re edits to make sure it was A OK. Definitely a learning experience!
Yep, when ever I go to a restaurant, there's only two things I care about, What the service is like when I order and is the food I ordered of value to what I paid. I dont care who the chef is, how many years experience they have, what knifes or pans was used in the process. So, like you I'm stuck in the grey area. There's a perception that cost equals value, and to a point its right, but a lot of that is just bloat and perceived excellence. It's a difficult one and everyday is a school day lol I want value for my clients
You're absolutely right about the you are too cheap for some and you're too expensive for others. I've had clients say no to me in the past because I was too cheap compared to what they were expecting, I think the downside of this however is, exactly what you're saying the education factor. People don't understand that there is so much more to the conversation that's happening other than just what you're seeing on the surface. And I struggle with this a lot because as a consumer of services myself. I honestly don't care or really want to know what's happening to make those prices those prices. My outlook is the value and I think because of that feeling I tend to not explain my own value to my own clients that is a constant source of back and forth stress
I am loving these videos,!!!
Wow!!! We got a treasure trove of content from you!!! This is fantastic. Having those support systems in business is so crucial. She nailed it right on the head. Having different people for different skill sets and different knowledges is so important because not only can you work with them for their skill sets and knowledges but also they're going to approach what you're needing in a different fashion, a way that you had not possibly thought about. One of my favorite quotes is nothing is created in a vacuum. Everything is dependent upon something else. From life to business. We grow by connecting and having those relationships with others
Ah thank you! Was a great shoot, worked with Sian on a few other collaborations and she is really knowledgeable and really listens to what people are saying. Starting a business is great but at some point we become our own law of diminishing returns. It's at that point that we need to recognise the tipping point and learn to transition sooner, rather than looking back and saying "Why did I take so long to do this" Thanks for watching buddy, hope all is well over your side of the pond.
Absolutely true
Its somewhat frustrating though that toilet cleaning gets more views than my own content. Think I need to go watch some more to find out why lol! But honestly she's nailing it

The blog looks stunning and super engaging. Having more visual contents makes me more engaged with the over all piece and I stay on the page longer. I cant tell you how many times I have clicked off blogs because it's all text and I just feel my brain losing all interest.
The reason for this is that we use the blog to get the message, tone and the imagery right for the video, so they end up being one cohesive piece. What I did notice is that all other blogs I've read are very sparse imagery wise and like you I don't find it engaging.
That was very educational. Thank you Donna and husband. (I can't remember your name, sorry.)
More than welcome, glad you found it useful 😀, my name is Byron
Great video! Quick question! What does the Lav audio being 48kHz has to do with the 24 fps? Also, if I record at 30 fps what kHz should I use? Thanks and merry Christmas mate.
From my understanding its all to do with the timeline and syncing properly. So say for instance over the course of an hours recording you won't experience any drift. If you record at 30 fps there might be some drift on longer form audio, but recorders don't tend to record for 60kHz. What recorders do you use? Event though I can set the zoom h6 to 48kHz other recorders I have can't and it hasn't been an issue. How long are you looking to record for? Merry Christmas too!
Thanks for the tutorial (I am late to the party, but still found this helpful). I guess my question would be, if shooting a wedding or some other multi-person event, you would have to get all the cameras AND the audio recorders to be able to see and hear the time code app, and then hope that none of the cameras / audio recorders stops recording.
Yeah that's the only downside of this method is that once you stop the recording and restart, you have to show the timecode again. So whilst it's free ish there are drawbacks too. Thanks for watching
What packages have you created to to help your clients?
Wow -- Clever, and nicely done. Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you and more than welcome
Not clear. Might work. Would try waveform matching first.
Hey, one of the other reasons for time code when I tried the free ish version was distance, I found in some cases that audio wave form wouldn't match. Since this video I've upgraded to tentacle sync time code, but was expensive, worth it for my use case but not cheap. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
How old were you when you find out you had diabetes.😢
I believe my father was either 18 or 21 when he found out he had diabetes, will ask him later today.
Nice stuff
Thank you !
Have you tried using a warp stabilizer in post on the toast speeches to get rid of the jello shake on the one camera?
I did, think that was the first thing I tried, but to no luck, I think the lens support was just slightly off after switching lenses which didn't help. Everything is now always locked down and haven't had it since, was gutted as it was a good angle to have.
I always tell the client right in our very first consultation that I need 30 mins. to get from preps to ceremony and 30 mins. to get from ceremony to reception. It takes that long to get there, film the location, set up 3 cameras and do an audio test.
This is something I do now, even though I did go to the venue twice before, the actual pressure on the day was not something I was ready for lol. It's definitely a fine art in managing stress levels.
Amazing Byron!
Ah thank you, was a good shoot and the bakery is doing amazing
Great idea, I excatly thought about the same and found your video. A tutorial on this would be great!
I used it again on a client shoot for an open day, had it mounted to the monitor so need to review the footage and see how it all turned out. I've done it a few times for BTS and then selected the angles I wanted and exported. When I have finished the client work I will create a tutorial on it. What stuff do you want to see?
@@DatrysiadMedia That is so great thank you very much for all your efforts!!! What I would like to see (as a insta 360 newbie): desired scenario: vlogging with a tripod and wat to have 4 different video files for 4 "sides". Problem is I have multiple shots during the day, maybe like ~60. 1. So a mass export of 4 angles of the insta360 (back, front, left, right) for thoe 60 files at once would be great. Manually this will probably take time to do for each tiny litle vlogging clip. But mabe there is a workaorund with the app?. thanks! 2. later on i want to to have "normal" video files and I will cut them myself in my video editing app
@Konti Konsumi No problem at all. Once I have done work for this client I will look at creating a tutorial on this. Might be a week or so as I need to cut all their video into a marketing campaign so need to get that done first.
@@DatrysiadMedia Thank you!!
I cannot get enough of this video sir.
Thank you! Glad you are liking 👍
Somewhat frustrated, the compression UA-cam is doing is shocking with this vid, original video has no banding at all
Kudos on this vid, you just saved me from buying unnecessary V-mount batteries and d-tap cables (would just be an additional heavy weight on my timelapse moco slider cart, and there is enough on there already). Thanks!
That's a lot of work but appreciate it's an option and pretty precise. I set my camera's internal timecode to it's internal time, after syncing up the time on all cameras. It's not perfect but it gives me a starting point until I use "sync based on waveform" for more precise syncing.
Thank you for the kind words. It's worked well so far but I have moved to the tentacle sync devices which have been working fantastic
Just Subbed to your Channel
Thanks man, really appreciate it
I didn't even know you were into fitness like this. Awesome content. Thanks for being so open. Depression is hard. Life is hard. One day at a time. Survive one. You get another one. Never quit.
I've always been into weight training over the years. It's always kept me level-headed. Diet wise, after 7 pm, and that's where my weakness kicks in for chocolate comes lol. Many suffer from depression and for me, weight training was a good way to focus and feel good. It set me right for the day. I don't normally talk about fitness because the channel is about growing my business as a content creator, so wasn't even sure I'd do this one. Glad you found it helpful
Included sled pushes into my workouts. Shot a wedding where the venue changed but parking was a nightmare, had to pull the heavy cart for just over a mile, in a suit during an unusual hot day in the UK. It was a killer. So upping my training game to help with my business game. What do you do now that you didn't think you needed to for your business?
Dude. Get closer to the mic. Could barely make out what you were saying.
Yeah early days of recording, I didn't pay as much attention to audio back then and it suffered.
I see what you did here, haha awesome concept, well done.
Thank you! Need to do some more thb but been busy :) not complaining though
Can this cable be run between the focus handle and motor?
Are you referring to the tilita focus handle that has the option to power the nucleus? If so in theory yes because all the cable does is up the voltage. I have not tested this though since I don't have that powered handle and still use the current setup, however I have two EF lenses which don't need the cable any more. I've just taken a look and the hand uses micro USB for the out, this cable is USB A to micro USB, so this particular cable won't physically fit. The handle itself says it 12v out, which is what this cable is doing so I don't think it's needed. Let me know if this helps
@@DatrysiadMedia The issue is that only the USB of the handle can power the motor, not the DC output. Apparently it's possible to feed the motor with a Dtap from a mini v mount battery giving it even slightly more power than your solution, but then the motor input is used up and there's no way for the handle to transmit the data. It's quite unfortunate and hopefully improvred in a future version.
@@ezrashanti that actually is a shame because the handle looks really nice. The other thing I wish that was improved is the LCD screen on the original control. It's a nightmare to use in daylight, which makes it a pain. I know the DTAP can be used, think I seen that working on Justin Philip's channel. I just didn't want to use a VMount battery but it does provide the extra power that's needed too. It's never simple is it
@@DatrysiadMedia Nope :/, maybe a little moreso with big bucks options.
That's really neat, thanks very much 👍
Thank you 😊
thank you so much, it was very helpful, but you kinda lost me in minute 5:30, it got very complex and i have trouble understanding your welsh accent. Keep the good work. Thanks one´s again

Hi
Thanks for this Byron, informative video. 100% agree about scripting. I create a rough script but with the idea that it needs to be natural too. I can't have someone else write a script for me and it be in a language that I wouldn't usually use. Even when I write my own scripts I go off script when I'm filming. As long as I get the important key points across then it's all good :)
Exactly, I'm in the process of creating a brief script for two videos I need to shoot tonight. They are more guidelines tbh because once the camera starts rolling I feel it can offer an un-natural flow to the video. Sometimes trying to read a script verbatim has a massive disconnect for the viewer and feels forced, which is why I am striving to be more fluid on camera. Not easy, takes time but getting there. Look forward to seeing more of your content too 😀 will be nice to see your channel grow.
