Anjelica Huston really is a phenomenal acctress. Even as she was bowing to her stepdaughter in fear, she still has that look of disdain on her face. She's totally at the mercy of the one she tormented most, yet still looks at her like she's a rock in her shoe.

What's great about these scene, unlike other adaptations, is it shows that you DON'T have to forgive your abuser.

I prefer the colorized version. But they got the colors wrong on the girls costumes. I've seen these costumes in a Bob Hope movie. The tops are blue and the stripes on the skirts are red. They have it reversed.
