I try to be friendly and decent to everyone. We actually met by chance-she was walking up the stairs, and I was going down. I greeted her with my usual friendly vibe, but she matched it and then some! There was an instant attraction, but what really stood out was her mindset. The loud playback was shocking at first, but it became normal-waking up on a couch in the control room wondering where I was. Later, as a club, concert, and recording musician, the decibel levels were brutal, damaging everyone’s hearing. Now, I’m grateful I can still hear something as small as a mosquito and appreciate soft conversations. By 40, I noticed older engineers listening at barely audible levels, only turning it up when clients came around. And yeah, during one-on-one sessions with Michael Jackson, no matter how loud it got, the fact that it was him made me bite my tongue about turning it down!

I sure did, my first time! It's never too late. I noticed you started with 'so.' I used to talk like that too, but in Thailand, I had to stop saying so,when using translator apps. It doesn’t work well. You have to be very direct, like 'Did you do this?' or 'Are you ready to eat?' Starting with 'so' just confuses the translation😂😅💯😎

Interesting. After being here for eight months, I’ve noticed there are far more ladyboy bars than nightclubs- with closed doors, loud music, dance floors and lasers. Another thing is that many bars have six ladies and one or two ladyboys. However, most nightclubs on Walking Street don’t allow ladyboys, except for a few ladyboy-only bars in the same area. I guess the big clubs don’t want any confusion-it’s probably bad for business. Funny enough, a ladyboy might walk in with a pocket full of cash ready to buy a bottle of champagne, while a lady sipping on a beer might barely spend, but that’s another story. In the area around Soi Chaiyapoon and Soi Buakhao, there are at least eight exclusive ladyboy bars within walking distance. The format is usually the same: music playing, buy a drink for a ladyboy, and when she asks you to buy one for her friend who hasn't sold a drink all night say no. I saw everybody young and old riding motorbikes going where they wanted to go. My old motorbike hero riding across town at 85 years old told me the steps to take to get a thai motorbike license, because you didn't want to be caught without one. After going to the driver school they take you to licensing place which is far from Pattaya in Rayong. I'm one of the few foreigners among 100 Thai people applying for their motorbike and car licenses. I feel lost and I look up and there's the travel OG, Richie Mack, across the room giving me that reassuring " you got this brotha" smile. As the Lines kept moving we finally got close enough to say what's up and shake hands, and say hello. We were the only black Americans in the place. People ask do I hang out with other UA-camrs but someone like Richie who has a prolific output and gave me much confidence when I was watching this channel in California, are constantly at work. Content creators stay busy practically around the clock. It's a fun job but you're your own boss and it takes all of your attention. My first round of the new testosterone is going good. More energy, more focus, more spontaneous erections and I stopped looking at every girl like she was my sister or cousin. I had zero turn on. Good point. When we have more options, we can make more choices, but sometimes, we just go with what we can afford. There’s a steakhouse here that I’ve been eyeing, and one day I’ll go. Instead of my usual 80-baht dinner, I’ll splurge on the 1,500-2,000 baht meal. I’m sure it’ll be really good and worth the price. I remember the first gentleman’s club I walked into-low-budget and a bit skanky. It was 500 baht for the lady, and for 200 baht, you could head into the back for an hour. The “back” was just a small space near the stockroom, but if you wanted a private room upstairs, that was another 500 baht. We all take the flight we can afford, right? Some guys rave about first class, but I’m a few thousand dollars short of that luxury. If I could afford it, I’d have that steak dinner two or three times a week. I’d go for the top-notch supermodel girl regularly-probably more often than necessary-and maybe even invite her friends! But honestly, I’m happy for anyone who can afford the first-class lifestyle and enjoy it. At the end of the day, the most important thing is to enjoy what you can afford, whether it’s first-class luxury or a bargain deal. If money was no object, I’d probably get ripped off daily-and probably wouldn’t care! But for now, I’ll make the best of what I have and enjoy it while I can.

I noticed that on my first trip upstairs. After the second time, I paid the bar fine and there were plenty of clean short time rooms. My arriving in low season made some really nice rooms/hotels very affordable.

Agreed-it really comes down to what you’re looking for. Some older guys might prefer a laid-back, down-to-earth girl who’s more like a 4 or 5. Others want that 7-10 knockout who’s fit, stunning, and always putting in the effort to look her absolute best. Everyone’s got their own style!

Great point, and definitely something to watch out for. Chained exit doors are insane and incredibly dangerous. I always check for exits or windows when I enter a place-are they accessible, and can I fit through if needed? How many floors up am I? Safety rules vary a lot around the world, so stay aware. You’ve already won by making it here-keep winning by staying mindful and safe.

I don't think there are any formal designated ladyboy gents clubs but the bars and clubs are simple setups to meet, greet and have fun, with private rooms if you like and no lasers shows or dance floors. Plenty of pool tables though and unless you are a good player, many of them will beat the pants off you, which may not be so bad 😂😅💯😎

There are plenty of ladyboy clubs and bars in Pattaya, most of which open early in the afternoon and stay open well into the evening. These places are usually set up for socializing-you can meet ladyboys, buy drinks, and even go to a private room if you like. Some are similar to beer bars, like those in Treetown, with music playing but not overwhelmingly loud. On the other hand, some of my ladyboy friends enjoy Thai clubs for dancing, loud music, and hanging out, but they usually head there after working at the places designed more for us to relax and have fun.

On walking street the other night I walked past where the Indian nightclubs are and could not stand there more than 20 seconds before my ears started to ache. These digitized sound systems are way past safe listening levels. Back in the day many of us went to big concerts featuring top artists. It could get loud, but now it's jet engine loud 😅😂🥵🤪
