I was first chair all county in 9 grade Brunswick county nc i was a cymbal player in marching band and a little snare tho i could rock it out on a snare lol mainly bass suspended and crash cymbals and mainly mainly timpani my favorite and some mallets but not much

i dont play cymbals nor am i even involved in marching band or anything like that but their performances are always so clean and smooth :3

Cymbals are the hardest drumline instrument. It takes so much precision and timing to get every crash and visual clean across the entire line.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the cymbal line ever gets any love from the percussion judge...I know the focus is probably on the snares, etc...but these guys are just freaking awesome. Was curious if they are ever mentioned in the evaluations?
