Brilliant. Not simple because it's not but it's almost perfect. The hydraulic table with a remote control could be used for most heavy machines. Just don't lose the remote.

how do you keep water from the top plane from going behind your siding?
The top is flashed in the exact same manner as J-channel and how it's bent down over the bottom flashing. Underneath we use Henry Blueskin a water tight moisture barrier and the flashing is also taped to that.
Majik! And lots and lots of caulk and love! Lol
