I can't afford this. I use the hardback cheap one. It is my study bible. I love it, because of the name of God, Yahweh. I never knew God by His name until I bought this bible. It makes a big difference. I really wish they had used God's name in the NT.

I’m curious do either of your Humble Lamb Bibles smell like old Billy goat? (I know you mentioned in a more recent review that a new goatskin Bible didn’t smell like old Billy goat, so guessing you are familiar with the smell?). Mine smells really bad, it is pretty foul as only an old Billy goat can smell and I can’t seem to get rid of the smell. Someone suggested using drier sheets, so may give that a go.

If I remember correctly I think local church or church bible publishes make this for the KJV store. I agree red letters make it harder to highlight

Hello young man. Did you finally grab yourself a ESV Single Column Verse by Verse Preaching Bible? If you did what's your opinion of it, and how do you like it? The way it looks in the video, my only complaint is it looks a bit on the heavy side.

I just purchased a KJV note takers bible from Christian Arts Publisher. It sounds as though the paper thickness is the same and I haven't tested which markers/pens to write in it with yet. It also is 11-pt. and about 2.5 in. margins. It does have lines in the margins to write on. The one I bought is hardcover although I would have preferred a soft cover. However, I see no reason to have to spend $100+ on a bible. I don't need goat skin or lamb skin. A plain leather bible is fine. The one I bought is about half the price. Like you, I'll try it out as well. Maybe you can let me know which markers/pens work better. Thanks.

I can't afford $200 plus for a bible. I think thats what this costs here. Unless I am mistaken, is this the study version? With all the maps and extras etc. Okay, just heard its not the study version.. so I think this version goes for about $160-$180 here. It does look nice though but too expensive for a poplar like me.

That's a beautiful Bible. The red letter for the words of Christ is not my preference because it's distracting for me and I like to highlight and I'm also not fond of the philosophy because the black words are just as much Scripture as the red words. Hoping they make a large print wide margin w/ references and footnotes!

I really like the CSB Life Counsel Bible! My favourite translation is NLT but the CSB is my second favourite. If only the Life Counsel Bible came in the NLT translation it would be just perfect...for me😄...thanks for this great review.

That NLT is a filament Bible. This means it's a study bible when you use your phone to open the page for more info for that page. Please read the info on the cover and back of the box that will explain how to use it.
