Just spoke to the surgeon and like the rest of my PKD treatment, he does not think i am sick enough to warrant the removal of the gallbladder. He's more concerned about the side effects of the surgery and does not think my 14% function is the cause of the pain because I have too much radiating pain for it to be just the bladder. Yeah, because I have PKD and NASH. Just cut me open and LOOK at it. Quit using labs and the BMI as testing methods.

I had my gallbladder removed & a bowel repair in June 2024. The hospital discharged me before my bowels opened & four days later I were readmitted with a kinked bowel. Now I have a partial rectal prolapse & are trying to avoid further surgery at all cost.

Don't tell me cannot do something! 😂 Stomach hurts anyway, whether alcohol is consumed or not, so a little glass of wine does a lot of good in my case. But maybe not for everyone. 🥂

Well I hate my life every day that I let my wife push me into this surgery. Doctor after doctor told us of what could happen but not what could happen if I had it removed, funny how they don’t tell you those stories of those that went bad like mine. Hard to push a surgery on someone when the outcomes can be as bad or worse than what you have currently. I hate my surgery on. 10-20-2023, problems started right then. First the surgeon did not and refused to prescribe post antibiotics and I developed a huge infection despite following his orders to the letter. I ended up hospitalized for 3.5 days and 40k+ hospital bill. Then he cut the stitches and jammed a 6” wood Q-tip in the incision causing extreme pain, open packs it causing a huge scar in the middle of my chest. Time goes by and I started having pain again under the right rib to the point it would drop ,e to the floor in pain. Months go by and nobody knew are gave a shit what was causing my pain, so I was bounced from one doctor to another until I finally had enough of that BS and started learning of the massive mistake I made letting anyone push me into a surgery I did not want. MRI.s, CT., ultrasound , X-rays, blood tests you name it. They wanted to do tests that had no chance of finding the cause but made them money, after all they to stupid to figure it out. I started my own research on the pain, ruled out possible reasons based on tests and symptoms, found out it was adhesions. I was not warned or even told this was a possibility, but 51.6% of the people who have surgery develop them. PCS, SOD, stone left behind, all bs. I went to a surgeon that I explained everything to him, and my findings, we did the surgery this past week 7-5-2024 at 8:30am, he found the problem, adhesions in 7 separate areas pulling, twisting, and hold organs where they should not be, while he was doing my surgery he also fixed the huge scar Dr Conway caused back in October, f,ing quack. I am 6 days post surgery and the pain from the adhesions are gone now just have to heal up and hope they do not come back or I will be right back in pain. What I have learned is don’t EVER let anyone push you into a surgery you don’t want p, even if it means divorce, as I hate the fact that my wife pushed me into this situation and I do not know if I can ever forgive her. Time will tell what other pains I will end up with before this is all over, maybe problems eating, gas pains, diarrhea, GERS, IBS, etc all in the air. My life sucks and I hate the way I feel every day of my life, I regret that surgery and my wife, I want her to have hers removed so she can feel the hell I live now.

My careless surgeon didn't remove a bile duct stone while gallbladder surgery and pain persisted when I visited another surgeon he performed another procedure to remove the same, now I am fine, only evening acidity burning sensation is there, can an expert on this help me.

Same here. All my .ife with huge prob.ems. had op at 30, gLl bladder stones es aped through duct a d i was jaudiced. Given to me in a potafterwards 376 gravel like stones after a 5 hour op. Now 79 and still my health a nightmare.

I had my gallbladder removed and the surgeon had to clean out my bile duct. It was 2 weeks ago and I’m hurting really bad right now. Why all these soft foods? Do many people have a hard time to swallow (ie. dysphagia) after gall bladder surgery? Maybe only the first day after having a tube stuck down their throat?

Remove your Gallbladder, and for LIFE, you are allowing DOCTORS/HOSPITALS/MEDICAL COLLEGES/PHARMACEUTICALS to mint MONEY CONTINUOUSLY. Removing Gallbladder, as I view it you are good as DEAD, A living DEAD. A Doctor's/Hospital's PATIENT for LIFE TIME. You will not be told that you cannot eat fatty food, fried food, and if you don't follow, you face severe health issues. No Modern Doctors tell you that you will have indigestion issues, you will be facing man other health issues for which the same doctors will not have any reply or generally will attribute to something different rather than removal of Gallbladder. Those Doctor or any doctor/hospital/medical school who say that Gallbladder removal will not cause any issues in a HUMAN BODY are either IGNORANT and/or due to personal interest of MONEY behind their views/interpretation and/or the medical school where they are taught it can be removed, that too, done only to ensure that the modern Doctors/Hospitals/Medical Colleges/Pharmaeuticals remain and generate continous MONEY at the cost of patients health. On one hand you say science has ADVANCED SO MUCH, but the Doctors/Hospitals/Medical Colleges/Pharmaceuticals till date cannot find technology to break the Gallbladder Calculus Stone, WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT. Doctor, I dont trust Modern Doctors, only in EMERGENCY, no option, because first they have been trained to treat symptoms in 95% of the health issues, second, they have been trained in seperate part of the Body, not to look at body as whole, and above all FOCUS IS ON MONEY, hence patients visit to such modern doctors/hospital never stops or medicine never stops. A heart specialist gets knowledge & training in his area, heart, so other areas knowledge are just briefly given When Gallbladder is removed, the bile that is produced by the liver, trickles directly into the small intestine causing health issues that majority of patients dont realize the symptoms until it is too late many a times. Understand what a bile does. Its a substance that is water soluble as well as oil/fat soluble. It breaks down the oil/fat and make it small particles so that it will not clog and to allow the pancreas to release the lipase and easier to absorb the smaller particles in the intestine, hence if you are deficient in bile, you may have 1. difficulty digesting fats and thus have bloating, indigestion, gas, sticky stool and burping. Majority of the people will not realise that this is due to the removal of their gallbladder, that realization is not easy to catch because they were having it earlier too before the Gallbladder Removal Operation, so majority will assume/presume it is not related to GALLBLADDER REMOVAL and will find it improper to blame their Doctor, on whose advise they removed their Gallbladder. 2. That puts us to another question, why many have bloating, indigestion, gas, burping after eating food and later sticky stool. The reason can be attributed to low bile/less concentrated bile and this is due to calculus stone blocking partially the concentrated bile from the Gallbladder. 3. One of the function of Gallbladder is to lubricate the colon, and without bile, you will have constipation. 4. If too much bile is there, than you will have diarrhea, that happens when the duct is too large or opening is too large. 5. One of the function of the bile is to take the byproduct of RED BLOOD CELLS, whichbis Billurubbin and help to eliminate through the body so if there is some blockage in the liver than it can come up and cause Jaundice/Yellow Eye, hence you need more bile to remove the obstruction so that the billirubin is flushed out of the system and do not cause Jaundice. So you can imagine what happens if on your Doctors advise you remove the Gallbladder, you end up in the hospital and Doctor/Hospital gives you a detergent that acts as a bile, to remove such excess billirubin. 6. Many other issues are going to crop up and that in turn means that Doctors/Hospitals/Medical Schools will have various other avenues to mint MONEY out of 1(one) patient, just think of th millions of patients added just because gallbladder is removed.
