31 Hz can indeed be heard from a small 2-inch subwoofer in an enclosure. But the real question is, how loud (at 31Hz)? The maximum sound pressure will be so low (at 31Hz) that you absolutely cannot listen to loud music with it.

Yes you are right about the sound pressure level at different frequencies and I myself am aware of this fact. Actually I am in need of such accurate frequency band sounds that might help me to consider the Fs value of general drivers. I tested with few more sounds from your channel and they sound more relative to my need. Thanks if you can guide anymore info about finding the fs parameters that I seriously need to know for quarter wave line speakers as my hobby.

Thank you for your reply. It reminded me to clear another thing that the said driver is ofcource fitted into a transmission line enclousere that helps it to produce lower end extentions. My test was not at free air resonance bases.

@@KatS-c8j Yes I bought them from local market @ just one dollar for a pair. I already liked this pair for their good response. Even while being full range drivers they deliver all low, mid and high at a clean level.

@@AudioSignalSuite their longevity is pretty amazing, two of the speakers are ones my father brought back from overseas when he was in Vietnam and two of them I picked up second hand myself his were the 1500s the ones I got were 200 the 1500s are 60 w and the 200s are 40 w I would prefer to have them balanced but the 40s are the rears and the 60s are the front

@@sabbath7081 Wow! If it's the SP-1500, then your father really did everything right! Great speakers, from the days when Sansui was still in the absolute top class! In good condition it is also very expensive these days.

@@KatS-c8j yes, back then he said all the soldiers in nam bought the stuff cheap and brought it home to there family's, he got the 5000 receiver and a pioneer PL 41 turn table and the two 1500s for a very reasonable price in 1969.
