Tried out lone star after 2 flex tournaments run by The Careys. Deanne recommended the Tumbleweed and Mockingbird for my 53 yr old slow arm. Really like both when thrown flat (got them now in Alpha and Bravo) With help from several great online discounts including 70% from Black Friday, I’ve added a couple more to the bag (or testing). I’d do the Ranger team but since I’m able to value shop myself, the free discs aren’t worth it to me - also 75% of the bag is too much, 50% I could probably do. Love both Bravo and the Alpha plastic.

I was just accepted onto the 2025 ranger team.....HOWEVER.....Lone Star has shown my channel love by sending my son a 3 disc pack to review (He just turned 7) when we only had 12 subscribers. Lonestar also prize sponsored 2 of my events last year for no money at all.....yes, they may have a business practice that is different from the big manufacturers, but they also are approachable. They make sure that you can contact them easily. They are extremely kind and they cater to the regular joe disc golfers. The ranger team sponsorship is 4 discs for the year. You get them in Founders plastic with a special team stamp (both exclusive to the team only). Yes you should show support for the company that shows support to you. Innova, Discraft, Discmania, Westside, Kastaplast, and Dynamic they ALL ignored me because I didn't have thousands of followers. Latitude was the only other manufacturer besides Lone Star who was willing to help my small channel out, but because I'm in America they do all their stuff over here through Dynamic (a company who said I wasn't worth their time because I didn't have 5000 followers, what a joke). It's no wonder the sport is getting so big in Europe....maybe it's because European manufacturers care about regular disc golfers and not just their pros.......hmmmm what an interesting thought......LSD is my preferred brand, not because their plastic is amazing (which in my opinion it is AMAZING and they have the BEST glow plastic), but because they have been easy to work with and they care about the average players MUCH more than any other companies. Take note big manufacturers....the regular players who buy most of your discs can't throw pro models....maybe remember that the bulk of your business comes from nobodies like me. Big shoutout to Lone Star Discs (Sheldon) and big shout out Latitude 64 (Frida). It's people like you two who make the sport better for us regular folks!

You should put flight lines on your disc when you throw it.....watched you throw like five discs and cant see a single one on the screen.

"better" is a strange word to use. They're just *different*. And no offense (I mean it) but if 420 feet is a "crush" then you (readers) should probably be throwing a 10 speed, not destroyers. Destroyers are made for 475-550-range arm-speed. Getting to 420' with a 7-speed is a crush. You should be reaching for a 12 or 13 speed when your arm speed is strong enough to make 10 and 11-speed drivers too flippy to control.

If you like the lots, you will absolutely love the Alva from kasterplast. It's an 11 speed driver and flys like a dream.

Bro! 1000 rated round is NOTHING compared to navigating a full round of disc golf with a toddler on the set....Wow. He can carry a camera in another year😅

I really like Discmania! Just filled my bag with a ton of new discs. Kinda went crazy. I did a lot of research first. For my slower arm speed I’ll throw a DD1 (11, 5, -1, 2. Slightly slower and less fade which helps me keep it in the fairway. I get about 400-425). I also throw a CD1. Love them. I get about the same distance but keep it straight. The FD and Skywalker FD1 are both bombers too (375 ft)

I prefer the Khonsu over the Rollo. Even when I throw a 180g Champion Rollo, on what's almost a 75° hyzer, it still turns right over and rolls. Which makes sense. It's aptly named. I definitely think the Khonsu is more forgiving with shot shaping. It has a much more manageable turn and is really nice to use in wooded course holes where your standard forehand will have too much distance and/or too sharp of a fade.

Tbh it’s crazy to think about but it’s certainly possible. At the same time I feel like Paul is too prideful to keep playing and keep coming up short to not eventually put all of his focus into his play and hunker down for one last win. Tough to know though

Unpopular opinion… a rotational mechanics baseball swing and a disc golf X-step throw are the same exact thing from the time the front foot touches, to heel drop, to point of contact/release. The lead arm should do the exact same thing, and so should the rest of the body.

I couldn’t throw half of the box so far 😬 I’ve only got 300ft of power and most of those are still meat hooks. I have an x out c blend pharaoh and I can throw it on as much anhyzer as I possibly can, and it still hooks up mid flight and crashes. My baby arm will stick to my I-blend maya for backhand throws.

I don't want to sound negative, but dang it, what can I say that's positive. You do you I guess. I doubt your 900 rated or better. I've been playing for 15 years and I have thrown a lot of disc. I don't throw anything in your bag, also what tf is that bag

S-Line DD3 isn't much off a domey Zeus. Definitely not as beefy as typical new Destroyer. I get strong Boss lite feelings from it because it's so glidey

LET’S GO!! Immediate credibility loss

FD aka flippy disc (in S-Line). It's straight if you throw it speed 6, if 6.5 it flips a bit but goes for a long way. On 7 it just goes right. If you want something reliable you gotta get C-Line or try e.g. Undertaker. Those are beefier and fight back, but also fade a bit in the end.

I have been trying out a dd3 for a few months now. I also have a cloud breaker. I love these discs for forehand and backhand. Last week i had my first tournament ace with yhe dd3. Forehand, uphill and around the corner. Blind shot. I threw it and i knew it was good out of my hand. I put my hand up to my ear to listen and by golly a few seconds later we hear chains. I figure it was a spit out but the card ahead of us said it was in the basket. What a memory. Ace pot was nice too.

I use Invictus for this slot. I started buying them because they were really cheap and really over stable for me. However as it beat in it became a reliably straight disc. I have now been working in other Invictus in the bag. I have been trying out vultures too. ATM I just really seem to like gstar plastic though. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these 10 speeds though. Sick ace also.

The undertaker was a cd2 clone. I was a cd2 guy until they were scarce and discovered the Lots. Great disc, but then DM brought out the CD1, and you’re hunch is right, the pairing of the S/C is 👌

You know what I like about having a consistent routine and being MINDFUL of it? It keeps your mind away from thinking of the jitters.

Undertaker and Sergeant are never coming out of my bag even if I had the money to try every disc in the world. Every other disc I bag could be pushed out if I find a suitable upgrade.

Lots is great. Wife bags one. Hit an amazing approach shot at Sprinkle Valley with hers. I've had one for a year as a noob to flight characteristics. I really liked it but didn't realize what a utility disc it can be as well.

Lots of good shoots, Lots of bad shoots ;D I have so many discs BUT not the Undertaker for this slot, Lots, Escape, Dynasty, a more used GStar Thunderbird (bagged), Saint, FX-4 (More stable than its numbers for sure!), a new Champion Valkyrie on a tad more hyzer (bagged), and to finish out Fenrir from Viking discs are more of a 9,5,0,2 than a 10,4,0,3 as well... ;D

I haven't tried much Kastaplast but I've only heard good things about that K1 😅 though I do currently love my Undertaker so it would be hard to kick it out of the bag! Especially since it's a sweet 2023 big Z ledgestone edition disc. They definitely fly better when they look better 😎

Excited to watch the rematch. Haven't seen it yet but me and my lots have been fighting a little bit (honestly just because I feel I can throw my 7 speeds as far and if I need more distance I jump to 11spd). Let the battle begin!

Passion is a speed 8. For straight fairway I bag a Saint Pro in Gold line plastic. Also a speed 8.
