Too many lights !!😢
One light bar and a set of fogs. Exactly what is required.
Fantastic!
Thank you!
Third week with my new Grennie. Sela Green, Scottish White roof, and Halo Red frame and taking her in Tuesday for ceramic, paint correction, two base coats and 1 top coat plus Exoshield film for wind shield. The gloss is pretty good from facory, this should be nuts. Cheers!
Well done bro
Have been enjoying your video posts. Thank you for sharing with the worldwide Grenadier. On 9/12/24, I purchased a 2024 Grenadier in the Chicagoland Illinois area. I was interested in putting the Black Rhino Armory Desert Sand wheels on my Grenadier, but had been told that they were not compatible. I currently have dealer installed 18" black steel rims mounted on BFG K02 255/70 R18 tires. Can you please provide me with the overall height, width and sidewall ratio dimensions of your Blackbear Mud Terrain tires. Also since your prior posted video on 6/30/23, did you have any rubbing issues when you went off roading in Tanzania etc? Thank you, Peter
Hi Peter… thank you for the support! Absolutely no rubbing. You’ll be fine with 285/70/17. I’ve spent some time growing my instagram handle- check it out: @kenyan_grenadier 😉 Also have a lot of updates on Facebook so you can follow Aabid Manji there. I’m coming back to UA-cam soon… waiting for my new bumper, winch, suspension and 315/70/17 tyres!!

I’ve been in love for over 18 months now… and I keep falling further!
Cool😂😂
Looks good! Any lift required to fit 285's? And one more thing, did the larger tire size void your Ineos warranty?
No 1. And also it's me the one that shouts KENYAN GRENADIER
Well done. This might be the first unbiased review I have seen on the IG.
That plastic ZF transmission oil pan is looking very exposed....
It’s actually pretty high up, but I still went ahead and bullet-proofed everything with this: instagram.com/reel/C3dH3puM-SJ/?igsh=MXJ6OTJ4eDR4OTk3MA==
@@Kenyan_Grenadier Your mechanic is going to be cursing you getting all those plates off!

A beautiful video.. Thank you
yikes those hubs already rusted
this goes to show you know nothing about cars 😂
Some folk have sore leg and back pain because of their for position on the lump. The trunk opener so too speak is on the left, as most vehicle are build to ride on the other side. The central doesn't need to be moved. Steering and pedals and don't ahah
lots of cheap plastics used inside. Software has lots of bugs.
Not sure I agree with that… haven’t had a single software issue. And I just got the latest update. The interior is rock solid. Plastic doesn’t always equate to cheap 😉
I drove one this past Sunday. I normally drive a LC200. I found the steering very disturbing. Too much play and wander in the middle. I drive a lot of miles on narrow 2 lane, no shoulder, roads in Baja California Mexico, and I think it frighten me when facing an oncoming tractor/trailer truck. It's too bad because I loved everything else about the Grenadier.
I respect that and understand what you’re saying. I’d encourage you to watch this as well: instagram.com/reel/C6-8YNFIVRE/?igsh=MTczczV4Zm4xNDkzcw== Also, I do a lot of similar driving to what you’ve described. It’s daunting for the first week, but you’ll be surprised at how quickly you adapt and make easy work of it. I must say there is a big difference in a test drive and actually owning a Grenadier…
@@Kenyan_Grenadier No doubt it's fine on a rough dirt road. But in my case, I drive 400 highway miles to get to the 20 mile rough road to my Mexico ranch house. It's got to perform well on the 400, too. And that's where the LC200 proves it's mettle. It does both well.
Really sharp upgrade! No lift correct?
No lift in this video… now however, 😂… check this out instagram.com/reel/C5YrPb_ozJm/?igsh=OXU1YmMzcWRnaWhu Eibach euro spec winch lift kit and lots more 😂

Nope…

Where did you get the bull bar from I live in England
That’s what want to know too. Hopefully he’ll reply
Stedi, not a brand I’m familiar with in the U.S. Please do a longer in depth video once you’ve got this finished
Will do… amazing lights from the land down under!
Did you get yours with the factory winch?
Skipped the winch…
@@Kenyan_Grenadier I am currently on the edge of the fence to purchase one and they have one with all the specs I want with a winch. But if I go for one without a winch I save a good amount which I could use for other parts. The safari roof version is only available in the base model with no front and rear diff locks. So for me I guess I would need to get one without the safari roof or place an order and wait 6 to 8 months. So I am still deciding and the other 2 things that’s in the back of my head is if there will be any lift kit options to bump up another 2 inches and the last one would be the resale value down the line.
Conundrum! To be honest, I should have gotten the winch. Aftermarket winch/with mount will likely come in at the same cost as factory from the looks of things. The lockers are a must if you’re planning to off-road (to me the entire point of the vehicle is this). So I’d definitely not get one without the lockers. Once you learn how to use the off-road features of the Trialmaster, it’s unstoppable. Safari windows were a must for me too. My 200 series didn’t have a sunroof and I’ve always wanted one so it was a no brainer for me. I use the windows to get my camera out directly above the vehicle. Also use them to get my boys out for game viewing and easy access to the front of the roof rack. I think they’re really cool and for me very important. Granted they do let it more sun than I’d like but I’ve solved that by adding an extra tint on them. If you want a full roof rack you don’t need them. If you’re keen on a sunroof then that’s going to cost you months in waiting. I waited 3 years for my Grenadier. Depends on how long you’re willing to wait I guess. Hopefully this helps. What I can tell you is, I’ve done 10k km in mine, mostly off-road, and fully loaded- and it’s been brilliant. I got the Eibach lift and 285/70/17s so already got an inch plus in lift. There are further lifts coming out soon. 285/75/17 will also fit, and I’m contemplating this for another half inch or so. I think that brings the vehicle to a perfect balance. You will need adequate weight to make the lift comfortable- I’m getting the full underbody protection kit from SPP Industries in Germany, and currently designing my own rear cargo slide system. That should add around 20kg in the front and 40kg in the rear to perfectly balance out the lift kit I have. Happy to help with anything you need, feel free to DM me on Instagram for a chat (@kenyan_grenadier)… All the best A
Epic footage and the drive looked amazing 🤩
No rubbing at full turn? 285s look perfect 👍
Nothing… considering 285/75/17 now
@@Kenyan_Grenadier I had a feeling they wouldn’t without rubbing but wasn’t sure so thanks for the confirmation.
Hey that is the Serena Serengeti Lodge with the leaopard. I was just there in December. We met Irene, a baby Dic Dic, that the hotel was bottle feeding after a Leopard killed her mother. We did a hot air balloon ride too.
That’s right… it is Serena and the leopard that killed her mother when I was there! Small world!
Looks Amazing
Hello @KenyanGrenadier love your vlogs…one suggestion though. If you could reduce the music, just to let us listen to the sound of the engine, and make the vlogs longer, we would grateful.
Curious what is the tire width? 11”?
Yeah… 285/70… so 11.2
Where’d you get your safari shades? They’re a good idea!
They’re just regular window shades… stuffed in there! They definitely help but are far from a solution. I got this “chameleon” tint done today on the windshield, driver/passenger and safari windows. It’s much better. A bit different to traditional tint, it’s a reflective tint (I believe 80-85% making it street legal)… blocks 99% UV and 90% IR and is fantastic at night. Not worried about heat, it’s the glaring sun I can’t stand!
Aabid, mine took only three weeks from ordering over manufactoring and delivery via Fedex to Germany. Excellent quality of the khaki/sand colored canvas and fits perfectly the Grenadier seats. Thanks again for the recommendation! 😍
Yes, mine were ready a long time ago. I chose to ship with the wrong company- my own mistake. Shipping to Kenya is tricky. I’m glad you like them, I think they’re awesome!
Looks very solid. Where did you get the rock sliders & side rails fitted from? The workmanship on the bar work is stellar
It absolutely is… bullbar, rails and sliders are all INEOS from factory.
DoesTougher sell in the USA?
They ship worldwide! Contact Mark: mark@tougher.co.za and give my reference for the spec!
@@Kenyan_Grenadier thanks I checked out the website. The seat covers are only $330 for front and rear seats. That’s a great value as the factory Grenasier are over $800
@@CJ-rk5eg I recommend getting all the covers I got. The dash, centre console and wheel ones are sick!
Cool! Looking forward to seeing the difference it makes!
They’re awesome!
nice...
Look very nice. I have a set from another well known SA competitor although I believe a lot more expensive. Only thing I would question with the Tougher product is a zip on the rear wheel carrier. A very small detail but I wonder it it would be more durable with Velcro or straps and buckles. Overall, a very nice looking product.
Interesting observation. I tend to prefer zippers because mud makes Velcro deteriorate fast. The zippers are pretty heavy duty but time will tell.
A lift? Bigger wheels? 🤔
Lift…
@KenyanGrenadier Will be interested to see the stance of the vehicle when fitted, if you can take some images before & after with a tape measure to show just how much difference it makes. Do you plan to get bigger wheels at a later date? I don't think there needed unless you're extreme off roading rather than touring etc 👍
@@patricksheringham5965 hey, so we fitted the springs late last night and didn’t really have the time to measure. I can measure where it stands now, it’s definitely significantly higher! I don’t plan to get larger tyres, I’m happy with this size.
Is this diesel or petrol?
Diesel
@@Kenyan_Grenadier No
Is this doney gray or inky black colour
Sweet ass
Your wheels show eight lugs. The vehicles had 6 I thought, What gives?
Nothing, 6 lugs. What you’re seeing aren’t lugs, they’re part of the wheel. The lugs are behind the black cover
That is crazy bad ass.
Do you have the sensors going off when you make a stop with the bullbar? I installed them and since then as soon as I stop at a traffic light, the sensors go off without anything in front of me
No, no such issue. I would imagine it isn’t bolted tight enough and the sway causes the sensors to go off.
Rumor is that the INEOS bullbar is not available yet in the USA. It is still undergoing crash testing for some reason. Hopefully it'll be approved by the time we get ours. My dealer said that ours might arrive at the end of this month!
Are you on the Grenadier Forum? Which dealer is saying that - my car arrives this week
Pretty sure I can get you accessories from here. Hit me up if you’re stuck
Yep, the steering gossip is nonsense. It isn’t vague or dead at the straight ahead. It tracks rock steady and responds to the tiniest adjustments. Easy freeway drive. What has surprised me is how well the weight transfers on twisty roads - it’s no sports car, but I certainly didn’t expect it to be as good as it is. My worst gripe? The glove box rattles, but I’m sure some small bits of foam tape can sort that.
Couldn’t agree more! My glove doesn’t rattle though. If it did, I’d take it in to the dealer… mine’s an absolute trooper. They just sort things out!
Is that the route to Rutundu? That's the real test of a machine...especially when it rains 😂😂
Lake Ellis to Themwe…
So bloody jealous!
Thanks for the video! Hope there's more coming from this expedition with Scott! Having driven a Grenadier for quite a few kms over two days, I couldn't miss that rather annoying warning sounds in your video. At 3.:23 there's a glimpse of a warning light inn the front panel. What is your experience so far with regards to the electronics on the vehicle? Greetings from 🇳🇦
There’s plenty more! Regarding the warning sound- I set that- it’s actually a speed warning. I set mine to 100. The exclamation mark was a warning for “washer fluid level low”… lots of bugs, and I have a heavy hand with the windshield wipers 😂 I’ve actually had zero issues with electronics… it sounds a warning if something isn’t quite right, like tyre pressure or the washer fluid level, and in my case for speed. I find the speed warning very useful, particularly when driving here because you can get carried away without realising.
