I’m tired of people trying to force everyone to use trains to get around, driving in your own car is so much more comfortable and scenic!
The brand new Seascape tower is going along well! Almost finished! We can see it at 21:25. Nice drive.
Invest NZ only into high ways? Looking blady new and 3lines far up... When kiwis realise invest strategic over decades also into railways what kiwis would have an civilian transportsystem. In europe some like NZ and another like swiss, french danish or japanese having a great travel system.... Mostly profits own society but tourists living it also! Trains all over great connected is a dream in NZ? NZ privatisation was same like GB last century....? Fast connectin from north to wellington over some lines a dream.
Yes, crazy. We need to improve our transportation systems throughout NZ. Privatisation of NZ Rail was a disaster. The government bought it back and has invested in it, but the new government will look at ways of selling it or closing it down. We need French Rail, Dutch cycle paths and American Freeways 🛣️- and about 10 million more people to live here to fund it all - come back to NZ Silvius
This was cool. Has to be some shutter speed setting you can change to make the prop just be a disc and not a distraction.
2 hours driving this car in New Zealand.
Hope you enjoyed it!
Acho a Nova Zelandia um país incrível, também gravo da mesma forma aqui no Brasil, comecei a fazer vídeos recentemente. A partir de agora te acompanho, me inscrevi no seu canal, um grande abraço direto de Barbacena-MG.
Enjoyed the ride and seeing the fami😮sites on the way home. I especially love the gorges, love the winding roads, they're my favorite and got a speeding ticket. Really enjoyed it,thanks.
Cheers - glad you enjoyed it
Very nice. Its to wonderful! Is the sound real? Birds etc 😊
Thanks - the soundtrack of birds is real, but it was an overlay soundtrack
Hi again hope this finds you well, been loving the videos especially when you take the back roads, this drive was amazing, one I haven't seen before, looking forward to driving it one day, thanks again, Happy Aussie.
Thanks 👍 Jutta - I always appreciate your comments, Glad you enjoyed it
Kia ora, This tour is wonderful, I love it, what a beautiful day to do it, it turned out very well for you.
Nga mihi - I appreciate your comments - glad you enjoyed it
Hi dear.I saw your videos. Your video quality is really appreciable. I was analyzing your You tube channel. You have made many videos. but you are not getting as many views and subscribers as expected. But your content deserves more views and subscribers. Your channel has some issues. Your channel has no complete Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for any videos. no proper channel tags. no proper video tags. and no SEO friendly titles and descriptions. If you complete all tasks. then you will get more views and subscribers with monetization. Thank you so much. I wish you all the best.
Nothing special is something less than Singapore or similar to Kuala Lumpur
Thanks for your comment
Please pic me up at airport🤷 Would be biggest winn and best
Ha ha - sure, let me know when you arrive
Nice a new route. .😃
Indeed it is!
I heard Tesla's autonomous cars watch these to learn to drive.
What kind of camera are using?
That camera would have been a DJI Action 3
How cracy what electronic chips showing when frames per secound are mutch to fast..... then freezing a propeller picture in till prozessor able to counting 😁
Air NZ best airline with grandiose staff and most friendly suport at flights! Air NZ its mirror how kiwis are.
This time north with early winter deep sun.... thanks
See likely driving trough Pokeno bakon centre and Mercer aftef 30 years its different but sill nice exiting! Old pup its gone about highway but 🙏 mercer stil its same?
Hi, the old Mercer pub building is still there I think, but it’s not a pub. It could be a cheese shop now, or maybe a museum. The rest of Mercer looks the same - but I drive past it a lot and don’t notice the small changes. Down the road in Te Kauwhata it’s very different now. There are lots of new houses being built. Pokeno has changed so much it’s crazy- they even make Whisky there now: pokenowhisky.com
Thanks for another nice drive in Waikato at boarder to auckland.... Nice region like every region in Aotearoa are special. ..
Hi again, been loving the videos, this one is amazing with its dirt roads and back country, it's interesting that it looks like most of the fruit and vegetable farms seem to be up in the north island or it at least seems that way from watching the videos, anyway, take care and keep well, looking forward to watching more, Happy Aussie.
Hi Jutta, there are a lot of fruit and vege farms up north, especially the upper half of the North Island, but there are also loads of apples and other orchards around the Nelson region and also further south in Central Otago, Roxborough,, Clyde etc. which grow a lot of stone fruits like peaches. Always good to hear from you, hope everything is going well. Cheers
How cracy its auckland now🙈 Trafgic at evening out like 🤮. ..
Between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm Auckland traffic is ok most of the time - in rush hour it’s terrible. Morning Rush hour starts around 6:00 am, or earlier. So rush hour is about 4 hours long now
In the evening a 45 minute drive in good traffic often takes 2 hours now - crazy crazy traffic
*Turn Right to Dick Road* Got me Rolling😂
Good mountain good water good silence
Goood ❤اللهم صل على محمد وآل محمد ❤
Nice drive. Pretty scenery.
Really? Decades ago some cars driving on beach and now kiwis having no another hobbys? What an traffic 🙈 🙏 only before winter its so mutch traffic?
Thanks driving in coromandle.... Whangamata i never was... Want enjoy hot water pools again 🙏 NZ vorever! Taranaki or waikato ohhh all else its unbelievable like all Aotearoa. So great people must be in a land of great difference and nature. Please showing after birds.... land of birds.
Stunningly beautiful road! Thank you for sharing.
The new Puhoi to Warkworth motorway is awesome!
Yes, they did a great job on that piece of highway. The last couple of weeks there’s been an announcement that the highway one north of Warkworth motorway will be pushed further north to Kaikohe - they’re even talking about fast tracking it. …. I might even live to see its completion!
@@slowtv-drive Good news! It's about time! I knew that a Motorway between Whangarei and Warkworth would be needed but past Whangarei, I thought the traffic was too low...is it?
@@FreewayFranks The traffic in Whangarei along State Highway is very congested especially at rush hours (rush 20 minutes in Whangarei) and at school drop off and pick up times. One big advantage of having a motorway through Whangarei to Kaikohe is that traffic heading through Whangarei won't be tangled up traveling through town. The other major advantage is the reduced travel times, not only to Whangarei but also for people heading further north to popular destinations such as the Bay of Islands. This would be a catalyst for an economic boom for the Northland/Far North regions. Here's something else which shows promise: www.oceanflyer.co.nz/ - if this eventuates it will revolutionise travel between regional port cities in New Zealand
New Zealand its so beatiful that it makes me sick!
During the 80's I used to come to this valley with the Wanderers Tramping club
Very beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Are they going the extend the Motorway further east?
Hi, the change of government at the previous election has led to a lot of chatter about upgrading highways. There is a plan to extend the Waikato Expressway and also create a four lane expressway/motorway east to Tauranga. www.stuff.co.nz/motoring/350204163/cheat-sheet-governments-15-roads-national-significance#:~:text=The%20Government%20has%20brought%20back,laned%2C%20grade%2Dseparated%20highways.
@@slowtv-drive Thanks! Is the government change recent? Very interesting stuff tho. I'm gonna have a look at this in detail.
@@FreewayFranks Yes, we had a General Election last October and there was a vote for change
Thanks for nice drive Must be early in morning sun rising up? Was once driving out of tuakau at afternoon where sun was very deep. 🙏🙏🙏 getting to NZ Aotearoa again!
Hi 👋- yes it was an early start to the day. Daylight savings has just ended so it’s daylight an hour earlier now. No need to drive in the dark
Hi hope you had a great Easter, been loving the drives, as well as the new ones I have been watching the old drives through the stations, still find the scenery in the back country amazing, looking forward to seeing more, Happy Aussie.
Cheers Jutta, Easter was good thanks. I hope all is well with you. Glad you’re enjoying the videos. For a small country there’s still a lot to see in NZ. Thank you for your encouraging comments- it’s always good to hear from you.
That was very very nice scenic drive. I've been to NZ, my cousin drove me from Auckland to Rotorua. It was very pleasant trip. I like NZ's slow moving life unlike over here in North America is go go go. Thanks.
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’d love to do some driving in the USA some day. Thanks for your kind comment. Cheers
Love this!
Cheers, glad you’re enjoying the video
Thanks for sharing this drive.takes me back to my holiday in 2019 when i did go along this road on the start of the peninsula trip.
Thanks Roz - glad you enjoyed it. You’ll have to return sometime!
@@slowtv-drive saving as we speak!
Pause at 6 min 39 sec you see a Palm 🌴 to the right
Your early video with bird singing was a good idea... why not sometimes integrate ome sound from NZ into videos. Not must be only bird singing...? Eveey outside never heard NZ sounds like bird again or before. This bird voices was different to european birds mutch at many places.
What a beautiful country ❤
Nice morning sun. .. I was once driving in afternoon sun from pokeno to Tuakahu and without sunglasses 😂.. There i having my first Tiptop ice cream 😜❤️❤️👍 Mint chocolat..... Still gives mint dark crisoy chocolate ice cream? Sadly thats tiptop its nestle -swiss intercontinental massive business? Hope quality its still good. Marketing about no palm oil was before anyway no question! NZ having enough dairy? Fruit sugar milk or cream its enough normally.... Since when u driving and filming?
Really kiwi video 😍 Slow video on right line. .. I love kiwi driving Taking your line and taking over where its best. Kiwi driving good only same creepy if drunken like all in world... How bigger are auckland got last decade?
Thanks! 😃 Auckland continues to grow 1.6 million people, still a small city in the world, but growing all the time
Beautiful winding roads. Very sparsely populated.
Yes - not a lot of people living up there, but some of the best beaches in New Zealand are accessed from that road. Quite often you can have a whole beach to yourself
ahah I bet! I'm particularly interested by the Te Paki giant sandunes. They looks very impressive, even from a computer screen! Cheers @@slowtv-drive
By the way, I know Cape Reinga is easily accesible, but what about North Cape? Can you walk to this place or get there by car? Thanks.@@slowtv-drive
This is awesome. I'm particularly interested about the Te Paki Giant sand dunes. They looks very impressive, even on a computer screen!@@slowtv-drive
Here’s a link to the Department of Conservation giving details on the walking tack in the area www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/places-to-go/northland/places/te-paki-recreation-reserve/things-to-do/tracks/te-paki-coastal-track/
love Northland. Gravel road, 100kmh limit. Believe it or not this used to be the main road to Whangarei from Auckland- via Mountain Road from Kaiwaka- before they built the Pilbrows Hill Deviation in the 1930s.
Amazing- I often use that road when the Brynderwyns are closed, but with the latest road closure they decided to block access to Waipu Gorge
Only creepy telling booring videos.... nice see Aotearoa for all missing it! NZ forever
Glad you enjoyed it
U deliver sometimes to coromandle or driving to Peroa and further? East coast would of course be nice. Thanks for u driving sightseeing.... some friends driving in taranaki etc. U knowing?
I hope to travel to Coromandel soon
Thanks for making a sped up version! Adding some background music could be a possibility for future improvements. Otherwise perfect👍
Cheers, thanks for your comment. Very good suggestion
