    Main problem i've had with the neptune 3 maxes is the fact the buildplate is not heated evenly, and warping was a big issue on larger parts (which often defeated the purpose of having a larger printer). When faced with a choice for our larger printers, we went with CR-M4 printers. Which i'm also not happy with, but they do heat properly the whole bed. I'm looking forward to some basic but reliable workhorse ~500x500x500 printer

    Looks like chaos to me. Everything scattered out over the entire room. Consider French cleats … and you could get everything on one wall and move it without putting holes in the wall. What is all the stuff on the floor? How do you walk around in there?

    • @diycmh
      @diycmh 29 днів тому

      it is chaos i have invented over 1,000 things that we make all the time from wind generators to several air water pumps the garage is well used for wood working also off road atv rebuilds and raiding lawn mower repair and motor rebuilds we considered French cleats and found it did not work well for what we needed above a certain height you could not reach the tool or bend down to reach the tool. so they end up on one level which did not support the weight involved for quick access. i have seven very bright kids and 30 grandkids so it is a problem with so many using the garage. we also have 4 3d printers working all the time. my son is trying to build a 30 ft x 80 ft building on his land just to handle all the projects. we are now doing hand percussion well drilling and i have invented a new bit which we will show on one of the videos.

    The mesh works better if loose, to allow better air flow, rather than stretched tight over the fan.

  • @ricknplano1401
    @ricknplano1401 3 місяці тому

    A simpler approach is to attach mesh on the front of a box fan . the flies/bugs are drawn through the fan and stuck in the mesh. Works even better at night for mosquitoes. occasionally spray a few bursts of bug killer in to the fan to kill any bugs not killed by slamming into the mesh.

    Alittle advice from another midea owner: make sure that support bracket has a more agressive tilt, say a 1" drop in rearward angle because those older version units like you have here are prone to mold build up and Absolutely need a good tilt rearward to make sure the water drains Out... newer ones have a drain plug that can be pulled from the rear but Still need a tilt to work without issues.

      Yeah, Im not sure how they come up with claims like that but it seems fantasy land.. I have 2 of these mideas myself, only they are the newer model with touch controls instead of push buttons.... It would seem more realistic to assume 63 a Month to run this ,than per yr.. I have barely had mine in for a month so I cant yet report on costs to run...

      He said he is wanting to cool the room not the house. Sounded more like a issue with air vent balancing due to having to need ac set to 60's in order to cool this room off. the thermostat location must have been nice and cold with setting it that low lol. This is a easy and quick solution, is it the best... well that depends on the person. I would say this is a good solution for them where no ducting/vent adjustments are made, just a window unit and room he is in most will now be a comfortable temp while rest of home can have thermostat set higher [mid 70's] and save money that way.

    Interesting concept. Could you perhaps show all the Flies & Mosquitos you have killed in the bucket? This would go further in convincing me that it works. Some thoughts: About the Fan, wouldn't it be more efficient to only have the weed whacker part and NO fan? I tend to think that with the fan creating a vacuum, the odor from the bait will be pushed out the bottom of the bucket and not the top, where you want the flies and mosquitos to go. If you just use the spinning weed whacker it will allow the odor to emanate from the top entrance since it does not create a vacuum.

    • @diycmh
      @diycmh 7 місяців тому

      Some commerical mosquito killers only use the fan for vacuum with an attractant that blows out of the unit. A fly can easily fly out of the small vacuum so a weed wicker is need to kill them. When the smell is blow out it attacks flys they land on the bucket till they find an opening. Same as wind blowing in nature they find the sourse of the odor. As for the test we are making videos showing the results from the salad bowl and the Australian with amount of flys and all other bugs, also daylight and dark test. Since it is not full bug season yet we have been waiting on the bugs to make the test fair. When Darren is properly covered with mosquito bites I thought we would start testing. We thought by him not bathing we could see if there were enough flys. This idea was voted down by his wife. Thank you for watching our video and surviving my bad jokes Thanks again Haley
