Great video thanks!
Would love to see this reuploaded with some audio that would help me while doing the job
This may be a dumb question, but is this the same as the purge valve solenoid? I have a code popping up for a small evap leak and I am trying to go thru and change everything in the evap system
Por favor te lo agradecería mucho
De casualidad tendrás un video o una imagen y cómo va la banda de accesorios pero sin el compresor.
An example of a perfect video. No fluff, no unnecessary comments or opinions. Thank You.
Simple and concise
Mine never came with any extra botls? So the factory bolts won't work?
Thank you so much You make this whole process look so easy
I rarely comment but when i found something useful like this, i comment and like
No sound ?
your suppose to start it and let the oil circulate before you check the dip stick
This was exactly the help I needed. Thank you very much
Does that rattle?
WD-40 will degrade rubber, use silicon spray instead
Nice job ! Glad I found this video. I'm getting ready to do it on my 98 Explorer Sport. Great video
A coworker of mine told me to try not to cross thread the transmission cooling lines, how can this be avoided? The over radiator replacement looks like something I can handle but I don’t wanna mess the cooling lines up
FINALLY!!! My 96 Firebird has a wiper that works. Now I can sleep in peace!
so its should fit on a z650rs? should have the same frame work right?
So my little rubber piece that hangs is broken can that be replaced, if so how and what is it called?
Yes, it's called a rubber exhaust hanger or rubber exhaust insulator.
@@horamite5237 and it just slides onto the welded piece of metal?
@@dmac5678 Yes, but you will need to lube it up with something like WD-40 so it will slide on easier.
Manca quanto olio ci va dentro?
FYI if you have small lady hands you can fit them behind without removing the battery 💅🏼
Thanks--the only one pertaining to my 2.5 engine type!😉
Excellent lighting, appropriate details, helpful hints. Dude your video is just about as good as it gets. Thank you!
Handy. I'll make my own out of a clamp I already have
How are you finding this screen? Is there an improvement in your opinion? Z650 is a great bike but I find the wind is just unbearable. I am thinking of getting a windscreen and am split between this one from Givi and a Puig touring screen.
Where is the oil filter at I can't find it
Did you have to hold up engine with jack?
I just finished mine on it’s side stand
is it just me or does this video have no sound?
Just you..... HHAHAHA..No, there's no sound...
so the whole rear seats can't fold down? just only center
It would be nice if you were explaining what you're doing and what you're taking off and putting on. Because that fine print on a phone is very tiny to read. Just saying.
Good vid thank you!
What size is that nut that comes with the frame sliders?
Huh, why is one so much shorter than the other, feel like the bike is more symmetrical than that.
saved me trying to get a welding done.. great vid !!
Excelente video, muy bien detallado y altamente claro, muchísimas gracias, felicidades, me ayudó muchísimo,,mil gracias
I can confirm this video describes the installation process 100%. Yes, left side bolt wasn't easy to remove so I used a medium sized screwdriver to push the bolt out after the nut was removed. If you're about to install this kit make sure your exhaust is cold!!! You'll have to work in the area immediately behind the exhaust header.
Excellent tutorial..couldn't have done it right without you..my Chilton's is sketchy at best.
I can’t seem to get the factory bolt out any tips? The nut on the back came out but the long bolt wont budge
Try to get the nut back on by spinning the bolt clockwise while holding the nut at the end. Once the nut is all the way back on, try to hold it in place so it doesn't back out when you turn the bolt counter clockwise. Hopefully this will allow the bolt to back out just a bit. Then you can push it out the rest of the way with something (I used the hex key) while turning the bolt counter clockwise simultaneously. Understand this means the bolt probably won't line up perfectly when you go to put it back in and you will have to do some pushing/pulling to get things to line up. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
@@horamite5237 Ill give it a try. Thanks a lot for the reply! Awesome video had a hard tome finding one before you posted.
thanks for this vid, pretty helpful
Hey bro im looking into getting an aftermarket magnetic plug what specs am i looking for m12 or m14 x1.5? aslo the gasket. Please help if you have any info. great video as well
Where can I buy thekit?
A link is in the video description. Thanks for watching!
Just a tip for anyone in 2022. Just get rain x 24 and switch to the bigger adapter that comes with it but flip it upside down and it slides right in.
Good alternative for bailing wire and hose clamps
Plan to do this later this month - thanks for the awesome guide!
Not using metric wrenches?
If it was like 10-12 bucks but 20
3:30 that trick with the glue stick blew my mind.
Hey quick question where was the purpose or removing the cap of the brake resivour?
The brake fluid will rise in the reservoir when you push the pistons back into the caliper. The reservoir is air tight. A small piece of wood works great when you have multiple pistons and you use a large c clamp it pushes them both together, he used a special tool. You could also use the old brake pad to straddle the pistons when using the c clamp. Go slow.
Just did mine yesterday, when I did the second caliper front piston push in the fluid overflowed some. Also one of the slide pins was totally dry. I scored OEM Ford pads from E Bay but that clip in the middle of the caliper was not included. Ford no longer makes these pads. They now work great, no noise after a trip up and back to LAX. Also the factory pads do NOT have an alarm, maybe after market ones do.
At the beginning of this video, that's exactly what mine looks like broken from the pipe. Great info, thanks.
