The Egyptians embraced a polytheistic worldview, worshiping a vast pantheon of gods and goddesses representing various aspects of nature, human attributes, and cosmic forces. The belief in the afterlife and the soul's journey was central to their spiritual framework, as evidenced by the elaborate rituals and burial practices associated with death and rebirth. Tarot, as a divination system, has a complex and mysterious history. While its precise origins remain uncertain, it is widely believed to have roots in ancient Egypt, making it an intriguing link between the wisdom of the pharaohs and the modern practice of divination.
The Tarot is comprised of 78 cards divided into two arcana’s: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana embodies powerful archetypal energies, while the Minor Arcana reflects the experiences and challenges of everyday life.
In this tarot I have connected specific stone's, amulet's, talismans, symbols and archetypal female figures back to the major arcana and associated court cards of the minor arcana cards.
