I recently had to take a multi-months break from dming because i just wasn't feeling the excitement and the planning was a big chore. Now I'm starting to get back to planning and we have a next session in february. I'm excited again. This is a crucial aspect I think. As DM's we need to be excited about what we do, otherwise we'll end up doing something low quality and the DM's enjoyment is also something to consider. We're also playing and we need to be having fun in the process and execution.

Hey I haven't watched the entire video but I noticed you had asked about being able to attack with left click. There is a setting you can change while in game to bind keys. One of the options is the attack move on left click. It definitely helps

Item scarcity isn't interesting. Rewarding items after a long time doesn't increase the value for players, it just starves them to the point of desperation or boredom. It's like how Overwatch thought they were too full of themselves. As if a couple skins every month was a godly gift, as if there weren't other games out there to play that leg players have what they want with better variety.

Hey just a heads up, loved the video, but your audio mixing makes the sound of the fire/rain nearly the same volume of your voice. Your voice is rather quiet, so raising the volume also raises the background noise so you're a bit hard to hear either way. Edit: On mobile! I should specify this problem is on mobile, I haven't watched on a PC

Sorry for not taking the time to animate this one. I've honestly been struggling with a making videos lately and I just couldn't bring myself to do more than than voice this one. It's these little details that I normally love doing, just a little extra effort that makes my work feel polished. I try to encourage people to take pride in their work, especially when it's something like this that will last forever... but it's just rough trying to do all this by myself.

This is the longest video that I have made yet. Aside from stream vods or entire D&D sessions, that is. It took me about 2 weeks to make this video being able to only work a few hours at a time during the evenings. So long in fact that the game got an update shortly after I started working on this video. I tried to use old footage of the non-updated game in order to stay true to my first impression of the game. I may make a follow up video detailing any changes or updates but until then I hope y'all like this type of review/lore video as I would love to make more.

Honestly if the creators of Ghostrunner are fine with me using their music I would love to continue doing so. The cyberpunk aesthetic is really felt in the music and I haven't been able to find anything else that matches the tone I'm trying to achieve.
