Me personally I can't fugking wait I loved KH3 and I will love KH4.

It’s not loosing its identity, it’s growing up. I was 5 when the first Kingdom Hearts came out and my Dad got it for me as a surprise gift. Knew nothing about it and thought it was strange my dad got it. Played it that night and it remains as my favorite series. Now I regret it when I hear a mobile kh game is released or updated or has an event when we have to wait years for an actual game to just be announced it is being worked on. Then we have to wait longer for an update of them just starting on it, and later it finally has one world competed, then they started another world a year later… at some point you know the entire game before they even finished it. The process is a long one and the fans are no longer the kids/teens they were when starting. Having the game grow more independent on its creations than dependent of Disney worlds helps build an image of “when you were younger vs how it is now you are older” deal. Let’s just hope the next time we get news about Kingdom Hearts it won’t be about a mobile, but one that is actually being worked on and is next in line of the story.

Not to pull away from the original plan but if KH4 and on is moving away from Disney I’m ok with that. I’ve been wanting to play a grown Sora since I thought he was Terra in the BBS trailer

imo its GAINING its identity. Sure as a kid it was fun running around disney worlds with donald and goofy and what not. But once I grew older, these disney worlds felt like a "chore" I had to do before I got to the juicy part of the story. I've love to see kingdom hearts without disney, but ye, that aint happening

I can 100% agree, if a game series never evolves, it's going to either stagnate, or get worse and worse, sometimes doing something new is necessary. Heck, some franchises like Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy or the Tales of games change character rosters and worlds almost every game.

Bro fantastic short discussion with lots of great points, the main two being. One, if it was the same just going after Xehanort and other versions of him again and again people would start complaining and say Kingdom Hearts has fallen off, and is the same repetitive story chasing the same villain. Two. It’s exactly all about how your attitude is to this, I completely agree this new saga (ark) is going to be very exciting and entertaining as we know hardly anything about the Master of Masters (or as you call him a giant 🐱) and we’ve no idea what he and Luxu along with the foretellers will be doing. I’d like to mention that Trevor did try to kill Michael in the cemetery but the trigger failed to shoot. Overall, this conflict between those two is very interesting and I have always made the argument that this conflict takes inspiration from other best friends conflict in the GTA series ironically Michael and Trevor do care about each other deeply. Your point about Franklin being involved in being affected by Michael being killed by Trevor is something that is very interesting and I think that if Trevor did kill Michael there it is possible that Franklin would have also killed Trevor because he didn’t have the fact and he also considered Michael a father figure. This would’ve also put Franklin in a very precarious position with the FIB because with Michael dead Steve would pressure him to work for him. I think rockstar made the right decision not killing either of them in the cemetery because it built off suspension and gave time for the player to decide who he really thinks is the problem in this conflict.

Better way of putting it, when I just figured they cared about each other more than they claim. That's shown in both of the bad endings when either Michael or Trevor stop hanging out with Franklin. I don't even know why Michael is an option to kill, but Something Sensible would be the most logical overall, unless Trevor would do what he says and leaves the life after the heist. He's still a bit crazy as of The Contracts, but Ron says he's some lifestyle guru. After The Ballad of Gay Tony gave us a hint of what GTA V would be like, it just doesn't feel right to do what we're told, as opposed to taking on enemies head on the GTA way. Love or hate Trevor, he must live.

If you’re trying to go for 100%, you can’t convince me that it would be easier on any other difficulty. Those lucky lucky perks are absolutely irreplaceable. By the time you get the third one, basically every enemy drops something. Easily saved me over 10 hours. Plus, that’s just so much AP. Honestly too much. At no point in my play-though did I ever have to worry about how much AP I had. Ended the game with 21 AP plus items, and still had more AP than I could use.

I played critical mode on kh3 ngl easiest shit ove ever done so i did it again this time i used and no i didn't use the pro codes i used the survival cheat code and may i say that shit os hard as fuck

Played on critical mode for a while and with the steam release decided to do a normal run on standard and what really confused me is how much of a damage sponge everything was. Every fight took so long, I started to think I was doing something wrong.

I picked staff for KH1 Proud since it gives you an extra magic slot, and magic is really over powered in KH1.5. But for KH2 Critical I think I feel like I'm going to pick shield.

Dang here I was thinking porting the older KH1-2 worlds to 3 was going to be the mods lol 😂

I am playing it now on the first time and my God. Everything and I do mean EVERYTHING kills you in 1 or 2 hits. You don't have to learn the pattern. You have to perfect it.

I just finished my 1st playthrough of this game on critical and man was it fun, yes it was tough in some parts but never felt unfair and made some fights in my opinion better and more epic, especially against, SPOILER WARNING ⚠️ Roxas and Xemnas

I’m a very physical fighter person, I play on proud mode… but I don’t play in the most optimized way (I use the kingdom key all the time because I just like the way it looks) and I do like big melee hits but I take the shield cause I like the support stuff early and that works for me and my dumbass way of playing

He'll, Tommy probably started viewing Earnest from the Printworks as a father figure, especially because he mentions how his dad used to work at one

DDD commercial got me into the series, it wasn’t my first kh game , it was technically recorded because I couldn’t afford a 3ds at the time but my mom pulled through and got a dsi and later on down the line I finally got a 3ds but both of these devices have magically left me

Highkey might have to do a replay of this game on critical mode. I feel like I already did but can’t find my save file unless I saved over it. Oh well - but aye at least I played the game a lot over the years (and did a BBS and KHIII critical mode run with saves to prove it lol)

I'm trying to get the the bottom of this. The community uses these explanations all the time but I really don't see the evidence ever clearly made actually IN the games. A lot is often said without directly pointing to where the information is given in the story or Ultimania. Truthfully thou if it's not IN the game then I feel it's less of a fact, even when it comes from Nomuras lips, so I'd only point outside of the games as a last rexort.
