A quick update on the build.
4g63 swapped Mr2. The car and engine both were throwaways so why not save both and create a project out of it.

After getting into a car accident with my 1g, I scrapped the 3vz build and went straight to giving my 4G63 a new home.

Dre's Racing Channel This is the engine I had after an accident in my 93 eclipse it had just been rebuilt and had mods. If I was starting from scratch I would have probably went with a evo 4-9 motor. I had a 3vzfe in the mr2 but I had issue with getting it to start and running so this was a perfect pairing.

Curious how you got the shifter and cables to work. Nice project! I wanna see more of it!
The cables are looped around with some longer push pull cables. The shifter doesn’t feel tight or precise. That is one of the areas that needs to be sorted.

Hey, I´m considering to do the same swap to a Riced AW11 that i found for sale and that i want to fix. How much money did it cost you to make this build so far?
My aw11 has a 2zzge with a 6 speed. I don't know the cost for this build since I have had the car for 5 years an have never driven it. I couldn't get the 3vzfe swap to run so I changed course after I got into a car accident with my 1g
What are you doing for engine mounts and axles
Motor mounts were fabricated (they are pretty ugly but functional), the mr2 mounting point on the drivers side was cutoff. The axles used 1Ga inner and awd halfshaft inner, the outer, bar and tripod are 1zzfe and rav4.

Can you post all that you needed to do and all the materials you needed when your done with this, because I’m pretty intrigued and my slow 4a just blew up
I have a aw11 as well when my 4age blew I put in a 2zzge in with the 6 speed transmission. I will unfortunately have to rebuild the 2zz again I keep having bearing issues on junkyard engines. I will breakdown the build at some point

What trans and axles did you use?

when I made this I had no axles, I was having transmission shifting issues and the cables weren't working right due to cable bend angles. That all has been taken care of now. 92 talon fwd transmission. Axles are a bit a combination of parts. drivers side: equal length shaft with 1zz tripod, axle and outer passenger side: talon inner and 94 rav 4 passenger outer and axles. I will probably do a write up or something so that the project can be replicated without custom axles at first as they really drive up the cost
