Check the splice joints in the harness that wraps around the manifold, they used to corrode. Was a Holden tech for many years common on this engine. With age will also cause o2 sensor and fuel trim problems. All depends which splice joint is gone in the harness. Hopefully this helps someone.

Alright is this just causing a thrown code or making it run really poorly. Mine is running on 10% power and making very bad noises, AND IS ONLY THROWING THIS MISFIRE CODE!!!?!?

I did it and it worked great. The only thing I did was disconnect the battery as a precaution, and then I disconnected and connected all the airbag plugs. In the end when I started the car again the light. THANKS!

I have Chrysler 200C AWD, Airbag light and graphics turn on, specific on passenger side never driver side air bag, only happens after power seat is moved up or down, also wire harness has multiple wires, passager seat is constantly being moved. My Daughter or my Wife, I think this is problem.

You did this while the car was running weren't you afraid of the airbag going off

I was not able to remove the boot myself. The boot is shorter on the #6 like the man said. My mechanic was able to pull the boot and replace it with the same normal size boot as the others. My mechanic has a very strong grip. My engine runs fine with all new spark plugs and all new spark plug boots.

TO THOSE WHO NEED [Holden Rodeo 3.5 V6 RA 2x4 2004] We have only purchased this lil beauty recently and everything has been fine When we got low on fuel the "Check Engine" light came on and it was not solved by any of these (not that these dont work, they just didn't work for me sadly) Hooked it up to the "Tech2" diagnostic machine Turned out to be the O2 sensor being triggered by emissions build-up due to spark plugs being the wrong size and requires new ones My mechanic was laughing at the fact that the work the so called "roadworthy mechanic" did do looked as if it was done by someone work little to no experience even though we have an invoice for all work done Simple circuits were not properly done Used single filiments bulbs for brake lights instead of double filiments (causes the brakes lights to work incorrectly in general and worse whilst headlights are on) Called the RWC (the roadworthy mechanic) told him everything, he was insulted by the fact I had called him out on the fact he did a bad job

@James Gatch I can’t get the #6 coil to come out of my sister’s 2001 Honda Passport. The igniter section came out (the part that holds the 2 screws) but the long tube portion is still stuck to the spark plug. Any suggestions to get the long tube out? 2001 Honda Passport V6, 74k miles. First five came out no problem

Very nice. Crazy how people give these away for free but any yamaha labeled product people want a fortune for. Not to mention these come from the factory with a nice intake and exhaust setup.

I did this repair on New Years Day 2018 & the check engine light still has stayed off the entire time..... and now it’s been almost 1 yr!!!! Good luck folks.....

Update..... it’s been several months now since I cut&spliced the pig tail for the coil connection & it has been running great with no check engine code on at all !!!!!!!

Update it has been 2 weeks so far since I spliced in the new connector & the Check Engine light is still off!!! I believe this will help some of you out there!!!! Good Luck!!!!!

Awesome I just picked one up for $50. It runs but I've gotta go through the carburetor. When it's in the water and you get on it bogs really bad.
