B-17 diorama:
In this video, I build a 1/444 scale mini-diorama. Showing a fictional scene where a B-17 Flying fortress has crash landed in Normandy, on its way back to its home base. Look´s like the pilot did a good job landing this bird.

I found a figure I really liked on Cults3d made by HWASS. He gave me permission to use it in my YT videos. Thanks! I printed them out with my Elegoo mars 3 Pro resin printer in both 1/64 and 1/24 scale, and painted them. If you like them, please consider giving the video a like 😊 ALso go check out HWASS Cults3D page, he has a LOT of great figures to your 3D printer. You can find his stuff here:...

    • @rogerdostuff

      @@rogerdostuff sorry roger! it is just that i am new to electric cars and trying to learn more about them. I watched this video about them and it says electric cars can kill you if you are not careful. I thought that maybe the pistons were connected to the electrics on the newer models. See if i never took the parking brake off, could i get zapped by your car?

    • @rogerdostuff
      @rogerdostuff Рік тому

      No worries Bonnie 😊 There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers. And if anything I replied to you helps you out, I am very happy to help you. And no, brakes on electric cars are not connected to electricity. Many of them have an electrical operated parking brake yes, but this is driven by the 12V battery. The only main difference between fossil and electric vehicles are the motors that drives the car. You can almost say that an electric car is easier to work on, they have less moving parts 😊

  • @bonniescotland2293
    @bonniescotland2293 Рік тому

    How did you get the brake pads out without loosening the bleed nipple?

    • @rogerdostuff
      @rogerdostuff Рік тому

      I use a small prying tool, like you can see at around 4:30 minutes into the video. Or I use a pliers to gently push the piston into the caliper. Just enough to loosen the pads, and make room for the new slightly bigger pads. If you do it slow like this, you will slowly push the brake fluid back into the brake fluid container. Just be aware that it might flow over if you do all 4 at once. Slow motion is the key here. I have done this for over 30 years, and haven't had any issues changing brakes like this. But I am not an authorized mechanic, so like I put in the disclaimer; Please do this on your own risk 😊

    • @bonniescotland2293
      @bonniescotland2293 Рік тому

      @@rogerdostuff would it be dangerous to loosen the brake nipple, with it being an electric car?

    • @rogerdostuff
      @rogerdostuff Рік тому

      No, it doesn't matter if it's a electrical or fossil fuel car. The brakes are the same system. Just make sure that the parking brake is off as always. This is to ensure that there's no pressure anywhere in the brake system.

    I have a corroded but fairly new multi tool. Imcsn’t change heads because of ir. But there is a. U,Tirol blade stuck in. The tool runs fine but I had to replace it. I found a trove of older but expensive hobby paint while cleaning the basement and I tried to revive them by hand shaking. No way. So I rubber banded them to the blade, much like you did here and it worked! In fact this approach is way better then buying an expensive crappy mini paint shaker. The range of shake speeds and the power are fantastic. So I came up to take a break and read this. Love your idea so using Velcro and a rubber pad. I’ll super glue a rubber pad on the blade. I’m trying to visualize a clamp to make changing faster. Thanks for sharing.

      Nice to hear that you can use the old paint! I always like to use what I have in house, I also made another shaking tool from a jigsaw I had in my garage. Glad you liked my video, thank you!
