Hi Henrik! Thank you so much. My capture tool is not great sound-wise. It's a shame because the music is really nice (Our musician,DMA-Sc, is a celebrity in the world of Atari ST). My theory: you found a hidden extra CPU in the ST that was there from the beginning, but that nobody else noticed for all those years! ;)

It's actually hilarious that ST peasants are so impressed by this when the OCS Amiga 1000 could exceed this all the way back in 1985. No parallax scrolling layers, software copper effects for sky in background, low colour palette. The only problem you solved was stopping the music from making ear drums bleed by muffling it under water. If I play under water I won't need hearing aids after 10hr of play. It's actually quite a shame and a pity to see a dev wasting time on Atari ST games when he could have a much better result for less effort on the Amiga. And the Amiga can always use fun, new games!

Amigists are still bad "winners" after all these years, reason why I quit all commodore groups. Few idiots always commenting crap like this (97% of them are fine). All machines can have new games, not just c64 or amiga.

Looks great! I'm a big fan of Dragon's Trap and I've played also Monster Land, Monster World IV and the new Monster Boy game. This seems to fit in that company well, and I like that it's a legally distinct homage! I guess it could allow also doing a little bit of your own thing.
That's the idea! Take the basics of the universe and create a different game. In any case, I hope you like the game once finished :)

Hi @ataristsnacks ! I don't prefer to give a specific date even if I would like a release in 2024. I prefer to take my time and have fun rather than chasing a date (as one can do in a professional context). Our musician is working on music at the moment. For sound effects, there are digitalized sounds specifically for STE but otherwise the game is STF compatible.
