@@506_LG_FPV caddx vista, 8 inch true rc singularity antenna, 60 amp mamba stack, emax eco 2807 1500 kv motors, m-80 gps, gemfan 7040 props, crossfire control link, smo 4k 30 gram cam, all mounted on an AOS7. Best 7 inch frame in my opinion. 3000mah 6s lipo. 14 minute flight time.

I will be straight up with you dude. I have switched most of my quads to dji. Bit the bullet and forked over the cash and will never look back. The field of view, the clarity, the range and penetration can't be beat. My long range set ups all have gps so if I go black I just flip the switch. I have been out close to 4 kms with no issues. I am not much of a freestyler so I cant really feel a difference when it comes to lag. Usually around 30ms. SB is definitely better than analog though, especially with the new camera. Scale of 1-10 Analog 5, SB 7, dji 9.

how would you describe what you see in the goggles to traditional analog?
Not as grainy as analog. Less rf interference lines. Image quality definitely hd. Not quite as good as dji but a fraction of the cost. Especially if you already have goggles.
I'm impressed with how it handled all those trees especially since you were close to the ground. Good job.
Not only that Brian, but on the far end of the path through the trees there is a small hill I go behind that I can't with analog. It has impressed me too. Thanks for the sub.

Nice! I got the exactly the same frame. I fly 7 and 8in props on it. Are you tunning it following any video on UA-cam as a guide?
Maybe my eyes aren't that good, but I don't understand why so many people talk about bad quality. I now have the dji system but if I'd already had a good set of analog goggles when I upgraded I would have gone with shark byte. I was coming from box goggles.
You're right Bryan. Good set of goggles really makes it look good. Better than what you see on the dvr and the youtube compression. Still not quite as good as dji... yet.

Whats the maximum range on fpv and whats the farthest you take the drone out
I have had it out over 500 meters. Cell phone feed gets choppy past that. No towers, no wires,no houses with wifi. Ideal conditions. RTH works great.

What settings did you use for the range?
u can go into the setting phone and change everything out of beginner mode it all set at 90 but u can open it all up to full hight and distance

Good UA-cam videos don't have ANY music so loud that it covers up the narrator who is speaking in the video (why speak to people if it's going to be drowned out?) and/or music so LOUD that it DISTRACTS from the video overall. If the video IS NOT featuring a singer/a band or a sound performance, then ALL music used (audio) SHOULD BE secondary to the video, ESPECIALLY if the video is showing how to do something or is demonstrating a product, skill, ability, procedure, steps, etc. The NUMBER ONE criticism/complaint UA-cam video viewers have IS THE MUSIC BEING TOO LOUD IN A VIDEO.
I think he turned the music up so high to drown out the inane questions the kids were asking. Daddy, daddy, daddy...
