    I remember the SCANDAL IN HIGH SCHOOL IN 89 I THINK when he was called out About his affair with his secretary. Where they showed in the paper ..how much money he would give to his son. It was like a MILLION DOLLARS.

    I was born in February 3 1973...as of 7/14/24 Coleman YOUNG WAS IN MY LIFE FOR THE FIRST 25 YEARS OF MY LIFE... INDIRECTLY... BECAUSE I WAS RAISED THERE EXCEPT THE 3 YEARS I LIVED IN HOUSTON,TX WHICH IS WHERE I ACTUALLY MET HIM. HE WAS DOWN TO EARTH.

    Some of my memories of Tiger Stadium: watching Mark Fidrych pitch two innings, only to hurt his shoulder. Reggie Jackson in 1984 going completely over the right field roof. Dave Bergmans's 13 pitch at bat before launching a game winning three run homer, Walt Terrell in 1986 coming one out away from a no-hitter only to be broken up by Wally Joyner. Seeing some of the greats: Reggie, Nolan, Yaz, both Griffeys, Brett, Goose, Dave Winfield, Paul Molitor, and too many others to mention. Comerica is 25 years this year, and still feels like plastic.

    Such a great part of my memories. First game in 68 as an 11 year old kid. Was blessed enough to introduce our two sons to the sights, sounds, smells, and pure joy of Tiger Stadium. Have been to many MLB ballparks in my life, while enjoying each one, nothing compares to the magical place that was at Michigan and Trumbull!

    For me it was Lolich, Horton and Gibson. Those three guys are etched in my memory from the time I was a little boy right up until the time I was in my forties. I'll never forget listening to a quiet radio with Ernie harwell's voice on the radio on a hot summer night as I fell asleep and the Tigers ahead 5 to 3 in the top of the ninth. Goodbye and good night old girl. We will never forget your Green Green Grass and your beautiful green seats and painted poles Everything Green

    Rosemary - This is your cousin Paul Carlotto. I just saw this video for the first time a couple of days ago while searching through UA-cam videos. Marsha and I were in Crystal Falls last August. Saw your brother and others. Had a great time. You are right though, so many are gone. I will never forget all the good times I had visiting there when I was young and especially the great times during hunting season.

    I’m wondering if the Bob Pisor is the same person that created the stone house bread originally in Leland?

    • @johnowens963
      @johnowens963 9 місяців тому

      That is the same Bob Pisor. After retiring from reporting, he moved up to a house he built in Leland and started Stonehouse Bread, a reference to an old stone house on his property. He eventually sold the business to some Detroit bread makers he helped train. Bob passed away a few years ago and I will always fondly remember the times we worked together, and our adventures in the UP

    All ruined by lower Michigan residents and there evil vindictive politicians and side by sides private property means nothing lower Michigan residents when they flock to the U.P to destroy everything in there path they think every dirt road every trail is free range for them to destroy they have no respect for the people that call the U.P home they have killed our deer herds they have all but slaughtered our black bear population they gut shoot wolves they have no respect anything but themselves the upper peninsula deserves to become its own state and yes we have more then Enough revenue as some lower Michigan residents try to say we don’t 800 billion dollars in pulp alone not including the lumber, paper, coal, and the several other natural resources that lower Michigan steals from Upper peninsula residents

I preferred the playing fields) One ancestor famously played in the Nat Cole Trio in the 1940s. I will check out your recommendation tonight when my surroundings are quieter. Thank you.
