Pig Brig Setup Instructions

With our feral hog population growing we decided to install a Pig Brig hog trap at our property. Realistically it took us about 2 hours to install, however we have not had rain in over two weeks so everything had be driven into hardened clay, adding a significant amount of time. Mowing my personal yard, I use an early 90's model Grasshopper 721, Milwaukee M18 powerhead with string trimmer and edger attachment. I can do everything seen here with one 12ah battery.

I'm using an early 90's Grasshopper 721, with a 60" cutting deck; and the edger is the edging attachment to a Milwaukee M18 power head. One 12ah M18 battery usually lets me edge and weedeat my 2 acre property.
Largemouth Bass Fishing with Angler's Inn on Lake El Salto

Our group traveled to Lake El Salto in Sinaloa, Mexico in late March of 2023. We caught several fish over 6 pounds, with the largest being 11.6 pounds, using a wide variety of tackle varying from topwater poppers, white flukes, lizards, and the most commonly used was the 10XD deep diving crankbaits. You'll have a great time! I had a hard time preparing since what they suggest was not normal for me, but I brought the following: 2 bait casters with 7.5:1 ratios spooled with 40# braided line, 10XD deep diving crank baits, the longest worms and lizards I could find to use on a Carolina rig with tungsten weights. I was reluctant about 40# braid on a bait caster since that is not what I am used to, however it is definitely something that you need to use. Bring a lure retriever, the one day we fished when the tilapia nets were out the retriever paid for itself. Have fun
This took me down memory lane. Spent 10 days there in 2006. Will never be outdone. Billy and company set the pace on 5 star treatment and the fishing is as good as it gets on this planet. Knock knock It's feeshen time!!!
Are the tilapia nets that big of deal? I'll have 2 days of fishing with nets and 2 days without.
