Wes is definitely capable of writing “simple” and extremely catchy riffs and melodies however it seems to me that his greatest things are created among lb musicians. I mean his blb and solo era were quite nice but we all can agree that the real beast and best stuff was with lb even those riffs from the late album. He made a cool tune for LoL (if I’m not mistaken) event, but it has the lb vibe all along. Wish he kept on releasing more cuz I’m really tired of watching those old clips of his jamming😅😅
I was 35 in '99 and my man was 35 WE ROCKED THIS ALBUM (CD) then when the new album was getting ready to come out Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water, we had many discussions about if is was going to be as good, not often do bands manage to have two big hit albums in a row. Let me tell you when I brought home Hotdog Favored Water and the first song came on "Hotdog" I new it was gonna be good. Significant Other is still my husband's favorite but I like CSAHFW more but mostly because of Hotdog
