British slang. Recovery trucks recover ‘wrecked’ vehicles (among other reasons such as just broken down, flat tyres etc) so we call them wreckers colloquially.

So we both quickly created accounts so we could see it for ourselves! In this video I’m on my way back to the tunnel after delivering to a fruit and veg factory in Birmingham 👍🏽

Man I am so jealous of you! You got to see all the *really* old trucks. What a time to be a truck spotter. I did similar, I parked up in the town centre & took a packed lunch with me and stood on the pedestrian crossing island. I chose Dover because of the old trucks you get. I’m really not a fan of new gens to be honest; I’d give anything to be born 10 years before so that I can experience the Magnums & FH1s & 2s & 3s, and the old Scania 2-4 series and the XF95s, and the old Merc MP1s & 2s. They’re so rare now, your best chance of seeing them is either in Dover or Northern Ireland! Thanks for your comment. Great to see an og spotter here 😊

Lol, you’ll see in my full Dover video that at times there was lots of traffic. However between ferries leaving & arriving, there were often gaps of about 5 minutes where very little traffic passed through 🤷‍♂️

For real! After I cut that clip, he stopped next to me and rolled down his window and quite aggressively asked why I was filming him. I told him I was an enthusiast and I was filming for UA-cam and his demeanour changed instantly, he was super friendly after that. Was a weird interaction!

Yeah I absolutely agree! I love seeing plates from the Balkans like Montenegro & Albania, as well as ones from Türkiye, the Caucasus region, Russia, and especially Central Asia. I once saw a Tajikistan plate truck at Cobham Services on the M25!!

@@paywastsabir1120 It’s entirely possible. I’ve seen plates from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, they’re all really far. Israel is far too, but it’s still possible to get to the UK from there by truck. It does happen 🤷‍♂️

Yes the balkan countrys an the the via baltica is a road from the Capital of Tallinn in Estland to the capital of Warschau in Poland with manny trucks on the route

These suggestions are great! I really want to spot on the Via Baltica, just need to find the time. I’ve spotted in Montenegro in the Balkans back in August this year. That was absolutely amazing. As for Türkiye, it’s my dream to spot there. So many amazing old trucks. I’ll go there in maybe 2026. And for the Brennerpass, might just be one of the best places in the world for truck spotting. You get everything coming through there, the old trucks from Eastern Europe & the Balkans, whilst also getting the customised new gens. I would love to go there in maybe

It’s a Scania P Cab Topline. What makes it so rare is that theres really no need to have a sleeper cab with that much space up top on a small rigid box truck like that one, so nobody buys them. There’s only one or two authentic Scania built ones known to be in the UK, one owned by Stan Robinson and the other by Geared Up Garage (featured on Trucker Tim’s channel). The Stan Robinson one however is very likely to have been exported out of the UK by now, sadly. This one is almost certainly a conversion as you can tell by the design language on the roof not being consistent with Scania’s roofs.
