Assiniboine - Part 2: Still Getting There
The long awaited, highly anticipated second part to our Assiniboine adventure! Well, the second part to us only arriving at our destination.
This video takes place in Banff National Park and Assiniboine National Park. We start this video at Egypt Lake, grab a well deserved beer and fries at Sunshine Village and finish the first day at Howard Douglas Lake. The next day we finish Citadel Pass, pass by Og Lake and set up our *dry* camp at Magog Lake.
We love that you have found us either for the first time or have opted to continue watching this adventure.
Thank you so much!
Love and more love,
Chad, Cym & Dani

Well well well. We filmed this wonderous adventure all the way back in August! Even though we are a few months late in creating it, here it is in all it's glory. What we had set out to accomplish was a two part video, this one initially meant for getting into Assiniboine and for leaving. However, this video has turned into a longer video therefor I will be making us a trilogy for this adventure...

Attention! We have another video here! On this adventure we let Ray tag along as we traverse through the Turbine Canyon Trail Loop in Peter Lougheed Provincial park into the Height of the Rockies Provincial park, and then back to Peter. We only opted to go the reverse direction that most people would take due to the first campsite being a FCFS on a weekend, but we for sure don't regret it even ...

Hello again friends! We find ourselves, again, trekking up a mountain. However, this time it's a beautiful day with views to match! We were so lucky to get to climb the Sulphur Mountain Trail in Banff National Park during the middle of the week and have the trail mostly to ourselves. Follow along as we start off in the Banff Hot Springs parking lot and hike the 5.4 (one way) kms up Sulphur Moun...
Prairie Mountain

Hey there! Come with us on this snowy adventure while we take our butts up Prairie Mountain in Kananaskis Country. A great winter hike with what we assume would be stellar views, but the day we went we were pretty snowed in. The weather wasn't going to stop us from making it to the summit, but we plan to be back one day so follow along and watch our first trek of this beautiful mountain. Thank ...
Grotto Canyon Trail

Hello fellow travelers and adventure seekers! In this video we take a break from hard inclines and summit views to traverse through a frozen canyon that is nestled in Bow Valley Provincial Park. The first steps of the trail are along a power cut line, but quickly turns into breathtaking views as you gaze up to the top of the canyon from below. On the other end of the canyon you emerge into a va...
