I think it's the influence of Greek culture in Iran. Many names ends with "ces" in Greece back in the day I think

There is an Iranian propaganda which is trying to make Turks think that they are Iranian. They are afraid of losing North Iran because of the Turkic population in there. Even an Iranian told that we are from same roots but western countries changed the history to make us enemies 😂

@@ArthurMorgan-yd5yt I know that and i know the term Iranshahr, but in medieval times they didn’t used that term, because in those times the geography wasn’t just persians, there had lots of etnicities. I bet you can’t prove me from historical texts that, Akkoyunlu, Karakoyunlu, Safavids called themselves “Iranian”. They used the term “Iran” but they never called themselves Iranian, but Turk. The term Iranian or Irani is a new term to unify the ethnic minorities in Iran Islamic Republic.

In the middle of the video, you watched a part of Turkish history. The Seljuks, Khwarazmians, Ghaznavids, Timurids, Aq Qoyunlu, Safavids, Afsharids, and Qajars are all Turkish states. During these periods, not only the ruling dynasties but also the vast majority of the military and a significant portion of the population were Turkish. Even today, despite Persian nationalism/imposition, at least 40% of Iran's population is Turkish. Iranian history cannot be told without mentioning Turkish history.
The dynasties you stated above were of Oguz-Turkoman origin, but you're forgetting that all of the above dynasties used the Abbasid administration system and court culture to run their domains which for a fact was a heavily Persian orientated system of Governance and the fact that the court language of all the above dynasties was Farsi(Persian) makes your statement quite ironic. Also the Turks of Iran would at most make about 20% of the population if we ignore the fact that the majority of these Turkic groups are being Persianised. I never understood why the same was never applied for the Arabs of Iran, Arabs would only make about 2% of the population that is if we only count the Arabs of Khuzestan but if include the now heavily Persianised Khorasani Arabs, then Arabs would make about 10% of the population.

The Seljuks are a Turkish dynasty from the Kınık tribe of the Oghuzs who established states in the Middle East and dominated for 300 years. Its name comes from the founder of the dynasty, Selçuk Bey.
