once its hit blades it a bit too late to shake stones free,i find pulling ski backwards works better than wobbling side to side which I always do BEFORE i start motor ,if ski is beached on gravel (I ride rivers a lot don't ask me how I know all this lol ),with all the guys watching on shore would only take few minutes to lift back of ski clear of water so one guy could check or clear pump
doesn't it work on vacuum? So when the ski is being towed, water rushes trough the intake and impellor, so there must be low pressure on the pump where the fitting for the bigle is located? At least enough to create a vacuum that suck out he water from the engine bay? Btw, don't these seadoo's have a standard electric bigle pump installed?

Just so everyone knows the worst thing you can do is try and start it after it had been under water, You have to do a boil out procedure. If your unable to do a boil procedure the best thing to do is pull the plugs out and keep dry firing it until most of the water is out of the block. If the water sits in the block it will begin to rust n case more damage. Open at electronic cases that may of been under water dry them with a hair dry and set a floor fan ontop where the seat would be Get in ASAP
@goalieman121 no u havnt, yammy is more stable, quicker and more agile and they dont brake down and whats down plants, unless ur talking bout old jetskis?
Either the engine needs to be on or the inlet line closed off for water not to back up into the engine when being towed over 15mph. Just having the key in there beeping won't prevent anything.

my dad and i forgot to close our plugs and they were in the water all weekend and nothing happened.

@goalieman121 o and i forgot to mention, the seadoo is heavier. dry weight is 388kg. yamaha fx sho is 376kg, yamaha fx sho cruiser is 383kg
