All original 1978 Vespa P200e new battery and first kick start up Pinasco 215, sito plus, cosa clutch, new cross, bearings seals, gaskets, n tires. Everything works except the hi beam indicator.
1965 Vespa SS200 Hurricane

Rebuilt SS180 motor with 200cc Hurricane conversion (66.7 piston port welded) Vespatronic (12V 90W) kit installed. Big bore SIP Road exhaust with large exhaust stub, so starts first or second kit. Still need to dial and break her in and set up GPS mph reading. May even dyno but that's another time. Vespa not for sale at this time. Thanks for asking

Timing after modification to the stator back plate on the SS 180. At idle it should be about 23-25 degrees BTC. As you increase revs the timing will advance to TDC as indicated. Again had to mod the back plate to achieve the proper timing. Also found the following information on the wiring which you will have to make a bracket to hold the CDI and regulator/rectifier box and create a small loom....

Using a multimeter select AC and putting your tester leads on the two yellow AC outputs you should have 7 at idle and up to 20 AC Revving the engine.

So guess what... 13 years later I'm upgrading my SS180 to this kit and guess what? Same issues.. the Wiring Schematic that came with the kit is ... well... not so easy to understand. Maybe in lieu of a PDF you could share a picture or three of how the wires are wired up to the junction box and the Voltage regulator? Thanks!

I had one just like that in the early 70s, even had the spare tire and auxiliary gas tank. Traded it for a Yamaha Enduro but should have kept the Vespa.

I had a vespa 50 once. I got to30mph . Then I put a 110 kit on it. Then it went to 50. I hated it. Now i am rebuilding a lambretta ld150 and hope to return to 50mph.

looking for an idiot guide to wiring this up, i'm really struggling with the GS150 kit 50004300 and SIP are no help, wiring diagrams they have sent are incorrect
NIce, motor seems to run well. I have a similar build ongoing. Couple of q´s if you dont mind. What head are you using? Did you alter the gearing in any way? Vtronic bolt directly on the std crank? Do anything to the carburation? Any work on the cylinder, ports? Thanks, -n
