Nice tie and fly!

Great looking fly. I am going to tie a modified version of this with dumbbell eyes and the hook and shrimp legs facing the other direction so it can be fished off the bottom for redfish. Thanks for sharing this.

Very nice. However, when it hits the water, it will poof out again. Though the pike I know will just hit it harder. Not really a deceiver though, but it will deceive the fish.

You say that the TRU zipper slides easily. I disagree. It does not slide easily. In fact you have to pull very hard to close it, especially when you're wearing it, it's very awkward to try and close it. Also, the net is not the easiest to get at. You've got to work pretty hard at it. I'll contact Fishpond to figure out how to get the zipper to close easier. Thank you for the video.

Too bad they completely forgot to update the strap by putting a spot for hemos like they did on all other packs.

How do you prevent that bead from slipping forward over time, opening the loop up and then the tail fouling on the front hook? I’m new to this style of rigging so I’m not sure how they work!

I believe the old sling has the Velcro attachment pad inside the front pocket... Not really seeing a reason to upgrade?
