I’ve heard of something similar but rather than sending a suspicious QR-code looking information-image, the information can be encoded into a real picture (PNG for example) by adding the grayscale values of all the pixels in the “QR code-ish square” to the brightness (or r,g,b values) of the pixels of a real picture. This way the image being passed doesn’t look suspicious and the receiver has to have a unaltered/original version of the same picture to get the information out. They just subtract the brightness values of each corresponding pixel for example and are left with an image like what you’re using. You can also limit the information per pixel so that it doesn’t change the brightness more that 16 points for example so that the altered picture seems normal. There are even algorithms that more intelligently select which pixels to edit so as not to change the way the picture looks and raise suspicion but I forget how that works.

it’s interesting but this encryption is very very elementary and wouldn’t really be of any value just because the seed is an integer it is super susceptible to brute force attacks

Nah, they copied or just used Eric Hartford's Samantha model, main key to emotions is no censorship+tuning. Visual is rudiment for future "matrix" code Internet, but needed for robots. But they leaked the ultimate goal, people who could make a good chip for always on listening+processing will be kings of all this industry, robotics and dictate which models to make. Chip must be very efficient. Several 4090's in sync can't make such for now.

For comparison according to this picture of a whole brain scan would need around 2 zettabytes in storage alone (without any interaction) and the whole internet is 0.005 zetabyte its pure hybris if we think we can create a near human level intelligence fast. Maybe we will get there in some decades but its not "around the corner". I assume its 100 years + away.

Neuroscientists cannot model even a tiny brain of a flatworm, even for a few seconds. You are extremely delusional and have no idea about machine learning and human brain.

A real danger of AI is that anyone on the planet with the motivation and means can 24/7 gametheory you into committing suicide, becoming transgender, committing unspeakable criminal acts, etc and you have no defense. Just think of all the evil things intelligence agencies are already cooking up and waiting to unleash.

I think it will be impossible for anyone to tell whether something is AI or not in the very near future - I have some experience with AI, and can usually spot when something (text, images, voice, etc.) is AI generated, whereas most friends can't pick up on the more subtle clues. But I can see that this era will be short lived - I think some kind of government legislation will be introduced requiring that AI generated content is 'watermarked' to distinguish it from human made content - whether this will actually work, however is an altogether different story! Interesting times for sure!

All the AI examples that you used look terrible and you are overestimating the amount of work that it takes to animate the Madagascar movies. Yes it is a lot of work but it's actually a fairly easy task and also enjoyable for a professional animator. You say "there are multiple ways to animate this" but in reality there is absolutely no way to achieve the level of quality or specificity as a movie like Madagascar. At least not yet.

personally I disagree, ai in your examples is just generating soft small motions. You cant have a movie full of the characters just looking around.

I don't mean to be offensive, as you say it took you little work to produce those short animations... But they kinda suck. The movie on the other hand, aged perfectly. It's boxy not because of less resources to render, but because of a stylistic choice (the stylistic choice might have been influenced by the limitations of the era, but that's how crating works, using the limitations to fuel your vision).
