The Xbox 360 is still the true gaming console to this day. most of what I missed lately on the xbox one, series S/X. These days too many apps are on a console and advertising that it looks more like a media console than a gaming console, this happened with the latest updates on xbox one, series S/X. no more xbox for this year 2024.......going back to PS I hope that in the future Microsoft will listen to gamers as in 2013, that they want a true gaming console like Xbox 360. not a multimedia center console with all the advertising. (Fu**ing Carbage)

So many ads, bad UI. Ill stick to PC. Maybe Ill get an Xbox One X. This is trash.

Went to play some games today seen dashboard was updated was like cool. Then noticed i couldnt remove the bloat store stuff and i was so pissed. Turned game off and looked up this video. Games are free to play with ads our console home page shouldn't be. Only add two of your own groups but ads are on there no fail. First time since switching from ps4 that im really disappointed with xbox. Who wants to see 1000 games they dont own and movie adds on console dashboard? Mf-ing NOBODY!!!!! Like you said should be in the store dashboard.

Looks decent because we can finally see our dashboard, BUT the game icons on top look like tiny cubes lol, give us game case look and cleaner on the bottom left side moving right and way close together it’s waaaayyy to spaced out looks unprofessional, it looks like a child put this together

It's sucks! How do I customize? Why is quick resume 3 rows down? How quick is that? Ads everywhere. It's just stupid. Well, I guess it's time to play more PC games.

You are only allowed 2 groups on the new dashboard, that's it, and you cannot remove all the crap ads.

I think this new dashboard is so damn awful, it's actually putting me off playing my Series X console! I really hate it, so much forced advertising clutter.

My Bedroom Xbox Series S got this update but my Living Room Series X did not. I have tried Hard Reset and unplugging my Xbox for 20 min, even a full factory reset and I just cant get my Series X to get the update. Is everyone supposed to have this update, or is it still a roll out? If yes, any ideas on how to fix this? BTW great video ty

We have 3 lines out of 18 on the dashboard, yes I'm counting the very top one. The other 15 are just advertising. That's 85% of the UI that's immovable advertising. If you bought a new phone for £500 and 85% of the home screen(UI) was advertising you would send the phone back. It's appalling that we have no customisation just add rammed down our throats. Keep the ads in the store, get them off my home scree.

Feel like throwing my Xbox out the window with the amount of ads the console I PAID for is no longer my xbox it is now there xbox to show whatever they want on my home screen.. fuck this control ish!!

Yes still trying to use it had to condense everything down to two panels for my pins! Then try to get into Game pass proper is a hassle, sure I can try to use the search function on the top but why? At least this seems fast and stable but at the cost of what? I really hope @Xbox fixes these issues if they don't want to piss off their fan base, but I also understand it is a business and business comes first. 🎮
