My band got ripped off by Steve Wetherbee in San Diego years ago (when San Diego was "the next Seattle") but we refused to sign a contract with him so we were "blacklisted" . . . That's the way the industry works!!! So how do you fight it? Start a band, record your own stuff, pay for everything yourselves', kick out the "free loaders" and the potheads, put on your own shows and after 20 years, put out a 2 hour video compilation on your own label! A great souvenir sells better than a fake "multi platinum" album that you never receive a dime from! True fact!!!!

This show was my metal education. My first experience of Metallica, Megadeth, Faith No More, Pantera, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana (….and Spinal Tap!!) were all on Raw Power. I was a young kid in the UK & there was no other way to access hard rock music on TV other than staying up really late & watching this! Good times.

Jeeez lads.....I thought you guys were the sexiest things on two legs, loved your music, loved your looks, loved everything about you. One of the saddest things for me as a kid of 14 was missing you perform at the Music Hall in Shrewsbury....I’d come with 6 friends after school, to see you, we went through the build up the hype, We were hysterical by the time you were due on stage, then it was announced there was going to be a delay of an hour.....To most it made no difference, to me and one other it meant we weren’t going to get to see you because our last train home left in half an hour! We cried all the way home, so close yet so far....I’m so sad for you all that you never got any of the money you earned, that’s so damned unfair.. Your manager, I refuse to say his name....was an evil, vile man, who quite obviously stole from you. Is it not possible to claim from his estate? It must be easy to prove what he did, along with the record label. Would some sharp minded barrister not take you on and fight for you....If only we could get enough of us aging rollers fans to march on this people who stole so shamelessly from you..... Tam Paton there manager was what i heard. They were so awesome its a sin what was done to them. My childhood was amazing because of them so much fun. Never forget them my favorite was Woody.

I used to stay up late to record Raw Power on my video recorder and to this day I'm so glad I did x I discovered this amazing band called Extreme playing decadence dance. 😊 I remember this interview too. Thanks so much for posting this xxx takes me back❤😊
