I bought this exact model back in June at a gunshow on Saturday , brought it home and shot it Saturday and Sunday put 80 rounds through it , 2 issues became quickly apparent , Light strikes and the cylinder wouldn't eject the spent cases easy , I bruised the palm of my hand hitting the ejector rod , I used a roll of duct tape to hit the rod after that , I sent Charter Arms an email Sunday evening about the issues , Monday afternoon they replied with an RGA , I shipped it off Tuesday afternoon , First of June , I got it back the first of December , they replaced the cylinder and increased the spring pressure , I've put 80 more rounds through it and have no issue ejecting the spent cases and only 1 light strike , so I will call that good . I'm confident it will serve my self defense purposes just fine .

The Rossi is not as small as a J-frame Smith. It more closely matches a D-frame Colt, even though it mechanically resembles the Smith.

Gave my son in law exactly the same gun as a wedding gift, but kept my vintage one with wooden grip. Good review.

Looks like the P01 that they discontinued a year + half ago. I was hoping they'd issue a replacement model but with a better trigger like what they put in the P01 Omega.

For counter clock wise rotation are you referring to the rifling? I ask because the cylinder goes clockwise...

You know what, I have a G26.5 and it’s my EDC. I find hand size is really less a factor than we’re being told. I’m 6’1” and a medium hand and I love the G26 feel, more than the 43 and more than the Sig 365. My friend loves the sig and has a monsters hand. As a newer shooter I found the hand feel was just fine and after a short time I’m shooting the 26 as well as I’m shooting the 19. For all the after market stuff, I’ve added nothing. I don’t know more than the engineers at Glock. Stock trigger, stock sights and stock handle and I’ll shoot just fine. I’m sure you will too

Dan do you know why the trigger on the security 9 series is wiggly and you can move it side to side? Idk it's not that big of a deal just wanted to see if that's normal

you know Dan put something along the lines of a 1x5x20mm scope on it, it'd make a fairly descent deer pistol!! speaking of deer guns how's the fin on black powder guns? personally i'd like to find a basic sidelock but all i'm finding is those inline 209 primer jobs!!
