My submission for Day 25 of Jamuary 2025. Chill live-looped house music.

This was played using hardware synthesizers together with Ableton Live. All sequences are played in live with the exception of the drum patterns which were prepared in advance.
A rough breakdown of what gear is used and how:
Roland JP-8080 -- Pad
Roland JP-8000 -- The plucked chords and a controller for the JP-8080
Behringer Model D -- Bass synth
Behringer Neutron -- Arpeggiated plucks
Roland Fantom XR -- Various other synth sounds
Yamaha YPG-625 -- Controller for Ableton Live Suite's stock Grand Piano instrument.
Roland TR-8 -- Used as a MIDI controller. The faders control the volume of the individual drum tracks, and the knobs do... a whole bunch of things but mainly control effects within Ableton. No sound is coming from the TR-8
Ableton Push 3 -- For launching clips (running in controller mode)
Chauvet Gigbar 2 -- Lights (Controlled using an android tablet just out of frame below the TR-8)

hey brother it's a great cover but just some constructive Crit. I got the same issue you do in that when i play and sing I play too fast. Try to slow it down and grab the feel of the song. I know it seems counter intuitive, but people want to hear a similar or the same tempo when you play the same instruments as the original. Experiment with the tempo when you experiment with the instruments you know? try to add that second vocals if you can and slow it down as well. other than that an amazing cover.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I was aware that I play this one kind of fast, and I wasn't really going for a 1-to-1 cover, but I could see why people might not like that when otherwise it is a pretty similar version. I'll definitely keep that in mind in the future.
.75 speed is closer to the original tempo, but distorts the guitar. Great cover though!
