Family comes first. That's just the way it is. Kudos to you both for taking care of the little girl.
Thank you
@@jerryandnelmainthephilippi3340 you are welcome ma'am
God protect get well soon 🎉
Thank you so much
Thanks for telling us your story. Sharing this and the cost is helpful to others.
Thank you so much for watching.
Glad she is better.
Had mine yanked at age 7? Almost burst. Was told because I ate too fast; Since then I pick at food
Yes the doctor said maybe she dont poop often so it’s stuck in her appendicitis. Nobody really knows what exactly happened though.
thanks for sharing. glad to hear your daughters surgery went well and that she's on the mend.. also thanks for the breakdown of the costs of the procedure.. God Bless
Thanks for watching
Happy anniversary, and a quik recovery for your daughter
Thank you so much
@jerryandnelmainthephilippi3340 more than welcome, please be healthy and happy
Sorry to hear about your daughter's surgery and hospital stay. But it looks like she got good care and is on the mend. Take care!
Yes she is, she just need to recover.
No offense, but there is a rainy day fund/savings where you put money away just for an emergency like what you are talking about. I have seen postings of your uploads several times before. And it always seems like you are asking for help and for viewers to feel sorry for you. Look at your viewership as I was writing my comment you had only 36 likes. I have seen a lot of UA-camrs who start their video content only to use it to ask for support to help them with their personal needs. You have to have good and interesting content in your videos to attract subscribers to your channel. At least you are better off than most Filipinos, driving a car and a comfortable home to shelter you and your hubby. is a luxury to most Filipinos. Hard work is good work.
I’m not asking for your pity. I’m just sharing my story and hoping I can help others. If you are new to our channel then you don’t know about us. We’re doing our videos so that we have memories to look back on someday especially when I’m gone. It’s just we got an emergency problems these past few weeks that’s why that’s all our videos about. We don’t even ask money because we have money to sustain our needs and emergencies here. Thanks for watching!
I didn't hear them ask for money, what video were you watching?
Having your kid go into the OR for surgery is a horrible feeling, happened to me once, years ago, I can't even remember what the procedure was way back then, but the feeling of helplessness was HUGE, I hated it!!! I've never experienced appendicitis pain but I bet it ain't good, I wasn't aware that she had an ovarian cyst, were you aware of that prior to this surgery? Glad everything went good and fingers crossed all remains good going forward.
Nope, when they do the ultrasound the result is only swollen appendicitis. But when the doctor open her stomach he saw blood inside so she need to cut more to check what the cause of bleeding. That’s how they saw the cyst.
Stop eating out maybe that's what made her sick at her young age she spouse to healthy cook healthy food for her I tough it was your husband but it's your daughter you keep going in your funds the normal Filipinos cnt do that thank God you can but I hope your husband gets his pension soon and I pray for healthy recovery for your daughter
Thanks for your prayers.
Happy to here your daughter is better. Happy Anniversary to the both of you guys. Steve
Thanks a lot Steve!
Don't eat the street food ,order to go no ice even if you eat in. Don't use restaurant silver ware.
I also heard parasites can cause this problem.
We don’t eat street food because Nelma cook at home all the time. Thanks for watching.
I have been in the Philippines and even the lizards have a fan...lol
Happy Anniversary 🎉🎉🎉🍰🍰🍰🍰❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The good news is the cost is cheap The bad news is you have to pay before leaving the hospital
Yup, you can’t leave the hospital unless its paid. One of the patient in their ward room stay there for more than 2 werks now because they don’t have funds to pay yet. They will go to the government officials for assistance. So they need to stay there until then.
Wife had gulblader removal in hospital only 2 day phil Health said she has to be hospital 3 days to pay anything. dr hospital stay medicine etc total every thing $4600 .
5 days seems like such a long time to stay... WOW
This is simple surgery but its not common in someone who is so young. I have seen from people its very painful once you have a Attack
Yes we thought its Urinary tract infection but it’s not. So God knows why it happened. Thanks for watching.
She is so cute 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Please get better soon 😻😻😻😻😻😻
Thank you so much.
Jerry, sorry to hear about your ongoing eye issues. Bumrungrad hospital here in Bangkok is one of the best hospitals in Asia. Have you thought about another opinion here? Hotels and appointments are easy to get. I’m sure you’re feeling distressed and it’s very understandable.
Thank you
@ Welcome, Jerry. If you need any assistance let me know.
Thailand or Malaysia prob. your best bet
Thanks for watching.
God Bless You two!
Thanks a lot
Great video, hope everything works out for you. Thank you.
Thanks for the support
Is that $6,000 pesos or US? $6,000 pesos is only a little over $100 US
It’s in $$$. Thanks for watching.
Jerry mate I bet you got either astra zeneca or one of the mRNA vaccines? I know man people with same problem mate
im sure they mean well and they try in these country's in se Asia, i just wouldn't get eye surgery even lazer on eyes or any surgery i dont even want to get surgrey in America or europe either unless i really really have to, to live a long live thats only when i would do but my life would have to be threated medically before i do it, if money is no object, i might go to Singapore or a international medical center that is recognized by the world or travel to a world recognized medical center in Europe or travel back to America to get it done if its a must to protect my life, no offense to anyone that is a medical personal in a se Asian country outside of Singapore, Thailand, i just hear a lot of problems happen if you are going to the doctor/er over there for anything above blood test's again i mean no offense. im curious, if the medical people cant speak good english why dont you ask them to speak to your girl in their native language and she can translate, so the info isnt slow flowing, from a youtube guy, sounds like they told you, your heart is pumping at 50 percent but maybe i heard that wrong and they were refering to blood vessels im unsure but when it comes to medical stuff i would want a good understanding have your girl translate it to you.
And in the end they have concluded that it is all related to the artificial sweeter in your gum. It sucks getting old. Now in my mid 60's. I'm dealing with an abscess tooth. I'm praying 2025 is going to be an answer to prayer. I'll keep you in my prayers. Jerry, your not cheep. Just frugal.
Thank you brother
nattokinese n serrapeptanase take for reducing heart n circulation blockage..... but after the operations not b4 not during. think about more drastic weight loss solution if you are o blood type carnavore will work. other options for other blood types.
I’d take the second surgery like you are going to do Jerry. Love your videos. But so sorry you are having health issues
That’s what my choice too. Thank you for watching!
Continuing prayers for you and your family.🙏
Thank you so much.
I had my aortic valve replaced a few years ago, the number 50 they gave you after the echo refers to the ejection fraction, which is the volume of blood pumped out of the heart when it beats, normal is 50-70, so you would be low normal
That’s good to know. The doctor said I dont have to worry for now.
Jerry, I'm with a few of the others. Maybe it's time to come home for a minute to get this done with. God bless, my friend.
I wish it’s that easy.
I have retinal vein occlusion, and I have to get a injection in my left eye every 4 weeks. There is no reversing it, but if I don't do the shots It will get worse, and turn into detachment like you have. I realize what you and your family are going through. Now $6000 is quite expensive , but that's the way I would go, since staying in one position is just a slow torture. My wife and I pay $1000 per month for our health insurance here in Georgia USA. Hopefully you will get through this and be over another challenge. Best wishes, Bill
Blessings from Malaysia, why you think about cost, it is life changing and money should not even be considered, you can cut back elsewhere if you need, if as others say it is so bad then why not go to Thailand and get it done ? I know whet3 i work in Singapore the cost would give you another stroke for sure. Take Care.
Thanks for your advice.
Right off the top of my head (and the Mayo Clinics) it sounds like she tested for your left ventricular ejection fraction. 50-70% is normal. 41-49 is considered mildly reduced, <40 is considered reduced. That's the amount of blood ejected, so my nonmedical expert opinion says your numbers are great...
She said there’s a little difference but nothing to worry about. Thanks for watching.
So sorry Jerry, I’m also dealing with diabetic eye issues. I have Type 1 diabetes for about 40 years. Over the last 15 or so years I’ve had many eye infections in both eyes. If I had to guess maybe 30-40 injections. Plus multiple laser eye treatments which is done to cauterize the capillaries all around the sides of the retina, to keep them from leaking cholesterol. I only have one eye that I can still pass the DMV eye test and see the computer screen so I can work. That good eye had a diabetic eye bleed making it like I was looking through a dirty car windshield or a dirty screen on a window. Got an emergency eye doctor visit and he did another eye infection then 5 weeks later he was either going to do another injection or laser treatment. Eye was better so he did laser treatment that he explained he’s doing to cauterize the capillaries to keep them from bleeding again. He said he cauterized 500 the first time and wanted to do it again in 6 weeks. Went back and did he said he did 400 the second time. Got another follow up visit scheduled for late Dec. I use a insulin pump and a CGM which is helping me keep my blood sugar at much better levels around the clock. So A1C is really good the few years. Diet and exercise is also helping me deal with this better. Just sorry I didn’t take it seriously sooner. Ron
Good for you brother. I hope everything will work out well for you. I’m trying to do what the doctor tells me to do and trust God with the rest. Can’t help getting sick when you’re old I think😂😂😂.
My mother got eye injections for macular degeneration. I think it was from bleeding called wet eye or something like that. Best of luck...
Thank you so much.
Happy Saturday Jerry if I was in your shoes I would definitely get a second opinion in Cebu!! I would plan to exit the Philippines to the US after my second opinion. I hate to say it, but these doctors are idiots. Not because they’re bad people. God bless you guys. Hope it all turns out well.
Thanks for the advice.
SO sorry for this ongoing ordeal I'll be praying for you Kuya
Thank you!
Jerry, it seems you health is deteriorating fast... would you consider going back to USA to seek better treatment ? Best of luck...
I wish it’s that easy. Thanks for watching.
best of luck jerry sorry to hear about your medical problem praying for you,
Thank you so much.
Thanks for the update. This is beyond frustrating I’m sure. My biggest fear is that all these doctors are not up to standard and would not be able to be licensed in any US state. I don’t get how you don’t do laser before an injection. Laser shores up the blood vessel. An injection keeps the eye stable. It’s not a cure. The gold standard is injecting a dye into your arm vein and then do imaging. It picks up what vessel is leaking blood. You then know what one to target in laser surgery. Problem solved. Please consider going back to Virginia. Apply for Medicaid. Can be done online. Forget these docs. It’s a waste.
Thanks for your concern brother.
There are Many doctors from the Philippines who have been licensed in the USA.
Best of luck to you Jerry, hope everything works out well and you get well soon.
Thanks a lot.
Praying for you guys! I admire your courage and trust in the almighty. Please consider the previous comment by Terry. Only eat meat/ proteins and cut 100% of carbs and sugar.
I will try. Thanks for watching.
Quick google search says normal ekg is 50 to 70. Which I guess the are talking about the left ventricle which pumps blood out of the body. I AM NOT A DOCTOR.
Diabetes destroys the capillaries in the eyes. CARNIVORE CARNIVORE CARNIVORE.
You're right about diabetes and capillaries. The rest is absolute nonsense 😂
@@ziggarillo Diabetes causes damage due to high blood sugars which causes high level of insulin. When you eat meat and avoid carbs it allows you to manage diabetes. It isn't nonsense, thousands of people with testimonials all over the internet are managing their diabetes by using carnivore.
Thanks brother
My long time Friend Heavy topped out at 400 he's now at 300# & feels much better. He hoping to get down to 250# What the latest on your weight Now Kuya? It's been almost a year since this video??
So roughly $17,000 per year for the first 3 years. Which is a lot less per month than the $1800 you were spending per month 3 years ago. So your average has came down since buying the house. I knew you said in a video then you hoped the average would come down to $1500 per month after buying a house
Yes that’s what our budget now.
Been cutting my own for 30 years. Can only imagine all the money I've saved in that time.
Beautiful dog, he will bring your family great joy for many years to come!
She is a sweet dog and yes we’re happy to have her.
