This is SO MUCH better then the 11-1-2024 interview Allen did with Rosanne... Sad IMHO The Roseanne V. Allen Stephan is OK... ua-cam.com/video/wFNIycXfJYE/v-deo.html
Great interview, but my god that Woody Allen rant was annoying.
Thank goodness Steve didn’t have to earn a living.
Robin died from an illness as real as cancer and just as deadly Your humor healed a lot of hearts God bless you
When does Bob start? Shut up, Marc.
I decided to give podcasts another chance. Nope - I hate em!
Why does MAron keep interjecting? It's like knowing smiles; who needs it?
Thanks for posting this. The first 500 episodes aren't on Spotify.
Love the Wayne. Rest in Peace, brother....
I’ve been a fan ever since HBO I’m four generations Floridain

"This is supposed to be a promo spot" 😂
I love the way Robyn Hitchcock mines the labyrinths of subjectivity! “The first brush of the paint on the canvas, the first exhalation, the first thing that pops into your mind is likely to be the most honest.”
32:55 'you guys invented that....?? WTF.. he knows Jeff Beck and the Brit groups in '67/'68 were already pumping out those tones..come on man!"
MC5 were already the house band at the Grande ballroom in 1967. Same time Cream was finding their way. Beck was actually a year or two behind having been in the yardbirds and his first solo album coming out in 68. It was all pretty much happening at the same time. Wayne and the MC5 get just as much credit as anyone.
And man did they rock more than those across the pond@@detroitdabber313
@@detroitdabber313 MC5 were a garage band and comparing them to Cream in '67 is absurd
@@derkommissar785 we’re talking about guitar tone here you buffoon. They may have started in a garage but they weren’t just copying what was popular, they had their own sound. It’s really not absurd at all but then again that’s assuming you’re actually able to follow the conversation we’re having and not get all emotional like a little girl.
@@derkommissar785 take some deep breaths. I know people get really emotional when talking about bands they like. Now realize that what you said changes nothing. We’re talking about guitar tone here, not ability. “Who did it first?” is the question here, not “who did it better?” I have no problem saying Clapton is a better guitarist than Kramer was but that’s not what we’re talking about. The only thing that’s absurd is your inability to follow a conversation🤷♂️
Why was marc maron so beautiful then, and now...???
Love Ru!!!💕

Marc Maron's interview with Alan Bursky begins at 28:45 and concludes just slightly over an hour later at 1:32:30.
I saw the 5 in Peekskill NY June 1969 warm up act was the Left Banke, the memory will last forever
Wayne died today age 75
Marc ruined it man...
Don't tell me. Mark talks non stop? I quit listening to him a couple of years ago bc of it. Wayne died today so I thought Id give this a shot
This is such a great interview. Love love ❤️
Mind wizard stepping out of a triangle.
Rest in Peace, Mr Williams. 😕
Listening to the pod on Spotify and what y’all talk about there around the 1:10:00 point, when almost everyone is in survival mode around you, people can’t think about protecting others in that state, not an excuse for the lack of protection, but Maslows hierarchy of needs is pretty accurate
How are there only two comments??
Marc’s Mom!!💕
Loved Robin man, but the bits about Keith Jarrett.....Jarrett has issues like that ALL THE TIME at shows....it's always something. When that becomes the case it's often a YOU thing....not a crowd thing.
1:10:30 Ru really gets going
The broken arm story at 50:00 is hilarious
So funny
The most unfunny duo ever.
Great interview Marc. You have Robin's empathy & genius !
Never heard of these guys, Jim and Derrick both seem very funny.
I loved this, you two have a great rapport and I laughed so much that I cried! ❤️😂😂🇨🇦☮️ 55:04 55:07
Another great interview, Marc..incredible perseverance and much respect to Ms. Pat❤.
“Bad drum tone”
it is extortion and there are specific tech companies that coerce or steel intellectual property from their employees and independent inventors and then file patents and patent variations and against and for control of any further development and use. another example of how big money people have usurped a measure put in place to protect the little guy
Rebecca, please do more shows with Uncabaret.
Yes, that really sucks when some asshole steals your name.
Honestly Marc, I think your preambles are the best part of the show. You are seriously funny. 🤣
Don't Scientologists do "Audits"?
Voice is good songwriting is top 5 all time
Love Billy Connolly. Great interview.
Earnest is exactly how I’d describe her too
