That's great. When I was in youth refuges (youth homeless shelters in Australia. Unless youre lucky thats where you'resent if you're older, rather than foster care) I had to make do with the few donated clothes the refuge had (or stuff old residents had left behind). It was too big but there were no options. I did get one pair of pants thanks to my youth centre buying me a pair after seeing me come in every day in thin shorts in the middle of winter. Having something like this isnt just abiut basic needs of safety and comfort but dignity

I just saw this on KING 5, and loved learning about the challenges for LGBTQ kids in foster care,. What a great topic for an episode, and so many of the statistics in between the talking sections were very eye-opening. I did have a lot of difficulty hearing the talking because the music was too loud. When there are scenes without talking, music is fine, but it overshadowed the importance of the message because it was just too loud. Thank you for filming the segment, very educational!

It's great to see these hopeful messages from youth who have experienced foster care. Treehouse is a key partner for the agency in helping kids graduate from High School on time. The work they do is amazing!
