Awesome😂
Why do all sweeps have anger issues lol
they did not make it out, Mount crew was the only one getting out.
Interesting that Inga represented Union. I still think of him as a league players he was at his peak then.
Not bad for a winger to go toe to toe with an amateur boxer Mark Bourneville.
@HighIQ1 Its back on 2night
that wasn't the sweet science.... that was a brawl very nice...
uh...nice shorts...i think ill pass on breakfast...for a week.
@HORSE1963 How can I get into doing this sport? Is there a club I can join? Is it expensive?I live in Auckland. Cheers.
Great video Horse! Love that barrel at 3:38
Whats with the armour
that's the only thing that we pacific islanders lack - fitness.
Aw mayn!! Watta fight.. Mad props to the horse, i bet after the first round everyone was thinking typical white dude getting smashed but he kame back and dropped inga.. Respect mark bourneville!
Good shit great footage nice one boys
You must have been so far behind us that you missed it ?
@shyyte Both fitness & toughness. Bourneville took some good shots in the ring, and that's when you find out how tough somebody is. Anyone can hit, but how a boxer comes back from a hit that's the true test. Fair play to Inga though.
I like it how you dont show your turn in the u23's final horse, mighta shown you 'missing the can'
Some comments now before the onslaught, The buoy collision only happened as the surf was so big this day the buoy line came adrift, so only 3 buoys were available to turn, hence more than one boat turning the same buoy ! 2 boats head on collision - can't explain that no matter how hard a try, just plain dumb. Being rear ended - another dumb thing by Midway.. the bad language was my on going battle with torrents syndrome ! Piha Senior A Crew won open division, Piha Pistols 19's won the 23's
@discoape Absolutely. You and you're crew are REAL heroes (and heroines) God Bless!!
@clarkewi Mate, all of these guys and girls are experienced life guards. Most have IRB driver or crew certs. Surfing an "old school"24' boat down a big wave and making it to shore in style, is something not everybody can claim ;-)
Takes alot of skill to control one of those boats. Why not just get wave runners? That's what the lifeguards on North Shore Hawaii use.
righto horse, now for the 2010 footage ...

@SvendBosanvovski u r an idiot mate..these guys arnt boxers they rugby players
Bournville was just too tough for the Samoan slugger
Mark Bourneville had already competed in Amateur Boxing prior to Fight for Life. Interestingly enough, McDowell was NZ heavyweight Judo champion at one stage.
Fairly explosive but the technique is not so much.
"You sound typical of a sore loser, whose countrymen can't buy a win, so they pack up their toys and move to another sport." Considering i am from England what you just said is a sack of shit! I love the sport, and not a fan of most british fighters including the likes of Calzaghe, Hatton, Haye, i am all for the american fighters, top dogs, exciting, great skills, stand out personalities, all the top fighter what will be going down in history will all come from the USA
Well, think about it... I assumed you were talking about all weight divisions, because if you were just referring to Heavyweight division, your comment has no basis in reality. "latinos come in second", I'm trying hard to think of a latino heavyweight champ, let alone a recent one. They have some brilliant "pop-gun " fighters, but heavyweights... You sound typical of a sore loser, whose countrymen can't buy a win, so they pack up their toys and move to another sport.
wtf you talking about, in what part of my comment did i refer to the lighter weight divisions?? i didnt, so what the hell you talking about? Your praising the eastern europeans for what exactly? making the sport more boring and depressing with their slow, sluggish punches and morbid style of fighting, their skills are amateur but with the weight they can throw around thats there only help in the sport, they are the reason the UFC fan base is growing because the HW division is awful.
Are you kidding... I was referring to the heavyweight division a.k.a. "man sized" boxing, as watching pop-gun sized boxers has never interested me. W. Klitschko, V. Klitschko, Povetkin, Chagev, Valuev, Maskev, Dimitrenko, etc. I can't see there being a genuine American champ for a while yet, too many "contenders" are exposed as flakey "jive turkeys" and gangsta wannabes, all trash talk and no substance. The last great American Heavyweight was Holyfield. p.s.- sorry, Rocky doesn't count
Americans still rule boxing, the latinos come in 2nd, then eastern europeans come in 3rd, Eastern Europeans have taking the heavyweight division when all the big guys in the USA have turned to football, so what you guys take over when the sport is at its lowest peak, and you all make it worse because you are all boring fighters, just oversized amateurs lucky to have the size they got, because that is the only thing going for them...
Horse for PM, I say. Someone needs to show NZ euro kiwi males how to toughen up. From 1:53 to 2:07 is brilliant! Raki pisses Horse off by illegally tackling him on the ropes then pushing him to the floor, does Horse take it... no way... he tackles Raki back, sidesteps the stumbling ref Revill, and distributes some rough justice with a crisp left hook flush to Rakis jaw... Priceless 5 or so knockdowns and a standing eight count while conceding 9kg... excellent. Two proud men, great fight!
Eastern European boxers dominate the sport now after years of not being allowed to compete
Poms do apart from Usyk
You just wait for the Cubans matey - that will sort it all out.
Best fight of the night if I recall. And both boxers went out for dinner together that night - I kid you not!
Its the Bowman Brooster ! unforntunilty he'd thought he was no longer able to have children after the high pitched squeal
You did Rugby League proud! That fight is a good comparison to the two codes, League is in a class of its own!
Class!
There's a shocker at 4:30 too
where does rugby fit in?
Thats got to be the sweep who lets the little yell out!
Nice vid. Makes you want to get out there. Nasty one at 5.30.
i take enough comfort in knowing your just a fuckin tool. haha
anterior cruciate ligament. i dit it last year.
ive played both at rep levels mate, so there you go
actually i have played both union and league so there you go
And you can't tell me shit mate, cause i've played both at representative state levels for under 18 (league) and under 20 (union) so don't try and give me that shit.
If you've ever been in the middle of a maul, or at the the bottom of a ruck, you would NOT be saying that, believe me son.
