Coating hinge fasteners for conveyor belts with Multiface 1 5
This video shows the coating of a conveyor belt fastener with hinge pin with the patented vulcanizing material Multiface® in order to seal it and to reach the best compatibility with belt scrapers and cleaners.
Multiface® generally achieves a very good adhesion to rubber, without any preparation with any solvents and adhesion promoters, due to the same chemical cross-linking as in hot vulcanization. Therefore, the job can be carried out in all weather conditions, in direct sunlight or below the dew point, or drizzle or rain or snowfall. It can be done immediately after the fastener is installed or later during a short planned outage. The belt is ready for use after less than 60 minutes at +23°C / 73°F, or less, even at temperatures below 0°C / 32°F, by using a heat gun. Look closely at the details that show the best application practice determined after many dynamic tests and practical applications.

Yes, you can use it for Light duty belts made of PVC and PU or rubber. Some dealers of Ammeraal-Beltech and Forbo-Siegling are using it.

Vous avez bouché un trou, c'est tout. Réparer, c'est redonner la puissance nominal de la bande (en grande partie). Pour une petite déchirure longitudinal de cette taille c'est suffisant. J'espère que vous ne faites pas la même chose pour une déchirure transversale un peu plus grande ?
Si vous avez une déchirure longitudinale de plus de 10 cm de long et 1 cm de large, nous conseillons d’utiliser des agrafes ou du tissus ou un patch EP160 pour reconstituer la résistance structurale. En cas de fente latérale, il est aussi possible de procéder de la même façon, mais il faut réduire l’espace entre les agrafes à plaquettes ou multipointes. Si vous avez une bande de très grande résistance, dépassant 1000 N/mm, il faut mieux prendre du textile et recouvrir avec Multiface 1.5, en utilisant deux plaques en acier et des serre-joints pour maintenir une pression pendant le durcissement. Voyez la fiche d’instruction pour cela.

You can see most of the value on the technical data sheet on our web site www.hejatex.com. But the most interesting thing is an application with a transmission belt running at over 33 m/s at an operating tension of about 25% of the rated strength of the belt. After 3 years, the belt has already completed over 200 million cycles. This shows that Multiface can probably achieve a higher dynamic strength than conventional hot vulcanizing materials. Multiface is a hybrid vulcanizing material for the splicing and repair of conveyor belts, which help to solve many problems: no risks for people, environment, tranport and storgae (even if you forgot it in the sun), reduction of the process and required investment as you need only 2-3 bar pressure and a lower temperature as usual. It can be even used for the splicing of steel cord belts with preformed cover plates, without some limit of strength. I hope you understand that with the new hybrid vulcanizing material you never need to wait for the evaporation of solvents and that you reduce the processiong time to less than half. This is valid not only on thin multiply belts, but also on monoply belts and on steel cord belts.

Würde auch gerne wissen ob und wie lange das hebt dauernd reißen die Verbinder
Teilweise sehr gut wenn die Verbindung richtig gemacht wurde. Es ist eine echte Alternative zu endlos gewickelte Riemen. Besonders interessant ist dabei der Preis (30-50% günstiger) und Einbau ohne Demontage des Antriebssystems.
Die Haltbarkeit kann genau so lang wir bei endlos gewickelten Riemen sein, wenn die Verbindung mit einigen Tricks gemacht wird. Und sollte es zu einer Beschädigung an den neuen Riemen kommen lassen sich solche Riemen eher mit Metallverbinder oder mit Multiface 1.5 reparieren, da diese Riemen Textillagen beinhalten. Multi-PE/PP was developed for the bonding of all types Polyethylenes and Polypropylenes as you can see on technical data sheet on our web site www.hejatex.com.
