How do you get them to go left to right then right to left?

I am trying to record this exact effect on my mtouch onto a fader. Should I be recording as an override? Also what I want is that when I increase the fader the speed increases on the effect. Should I use a q-blender and increase the multiplier? It doesn't seem to work properly like that

This demonstrates the fact that not only has lighting technology advanced massively (the mac500 was leaps ahead of the 1200) but also that lighting design has too, it might be just the video, but it looks soo wishy-washy and un-co-ordinated compared to lighting shows in modern day large-scale productions.

Totally off topic question, but when using a hanging bar as seen at 1:10. How do you keep it from swinging with the movement of the fixtures?

hi there, i have a martin m2go light deck but i need time code programming, can you help me, i mean, i wanna wright some light shows but i wanna use with 1 fader master,for axemple i'll click go 1 and enter my lights shows will start and continue,if someone help me, really i'll be soooo happy :) this is really will be perfect for my job!!! if you know some links about this, can you share somebody ??

How is this done in V3? I can't seem to get it to save the layout. Whenever i unlock->add window->lock again, then navigate to any of the other tabs (presets/fixture groups etc) the windows i added in the second screen disappear?

What visualizer is being used here?

Paul, this is truly amazing. Hands down awesomeness, especially considering this was 1996 with a 3032.... I know LJ pretty well, and I can't even begin to imagine how I would go about programming this demo in 48 hours! I would be interested to see what you can do in 2013!

@Daan, No, you can do far more than just ten. I think its more like 1000 or something.

@Swat, "snap" is a function on the desk to execute a cue while ignoring the timing recorded in the cue.

Really? The ability to pixel map? The ability to change the degree of the beam to wash or spot (ish)? Very useful tools.

I'm a big fan the 101 and 301, but just don't see the benefit of the novelty effect of this fixture. It's not bad, but just seems like it belongs more in an architect installation than on a stage.
